Growing up on an eclectic diet of Reggae and Rare-Groove provided by their parent's record collection, John Reid (UK) aka Dj Switcher is hard to pin down musically. Inspired by their family's love of music, John Reid (UK) Aka Dj Switcher took up the keyboard at the age of 12. It was only a few years later that John Reid (UK) Aka Dj Switcher discovered late night techno parties and the groovy rhythms of Uk Garage. John Reid (UK) Aka Dj Switcher promptly sold their keyboard and purchased Vinyl Turntables and began performing at local house parties, basements and abandoned warehouses.

Now a regular fixture of London's nightlife/club scene John Reid (UK) Aka Dj Switcher has shared the stage with such well-known international DJs such as Pioneer, Supa D, and Masterstepz and has started music production also since 2015. 2018 looks to be a busy year for John Reid (UK) Aka Dj Switcher as they work on making more music also.
