Tim Swan first developed a love for 1960’s soul, disco, and funk classics from the radio waves in Chicago, USA.   Crossing the big pond in 2003, Tim landed in London and discovered a love for house music.  Searching for the latest tracks and vintage club sounds in the narrow alleyways of Soho, he set out to find the absolute best sounds and re-edits that London could provide.

Tim first started playing out in Portland on the US west coast, providing relaxing lounge sets for “First Thursday” gallery exhibitions.  Moving to Nürnberg, Germany in 2008, Tim embraced the local underground music scene, spinning at noteworthy locales such as Zwingerbar, Die Rote Bar, Weinerei, and Indaba.  Collaborating with the popular techno, minimal, and deep house-based event group Vernunft & Faulheit (Reason & Laziness), Tim’s passion for nu-disco and deep, soulful sounds helped create energetic vibrance on the dance floor.

Drawing influence from the underground disco sounds of New York’s legendary Paradise Garage and Chicago’s The Warehouse, Tim remains true to the roots of House, playing a delightful mixture of nu-disco, soulful / deep house, funk, and latin beats for eager crowds desperate to rediscover House music.
