Inspired by the classic movie "Servants' Entrance" (1934) starring Janet Gaynor as Hedda. In one scene—a mixture of live action and Disney animation—she dreams the kitchen utensils are putting her on trial. Hence, the song title "Hedda's Dream." Elsewhere, Gaynor sang a charming version of "I'm a Dreamer, Aren't We All?" Also borrowed dialog about dancing from "Hedda Gabler" by Henrik Ibsen.

Standard house tempo at 120 bpm, in the key of D minor. Mostly functional chord progressions, with several melodies, including a simple three-note piano motif. Samples combine atmospheric voices and light laughter to create a dream-like atmosphere. Big build in the middle, with a climax following. Constructive feedback welcome.
