Yaga Gathering   In Lithuania played a special role in my dj career. it was one of my first gigs outside of lovely  Estonia back in 2003. And I'm happy to see that gathering still happening after 20 years and I'm still playing on it. In fact, it grow from 300 people forest freaks party in the woods into one of the most authentic and professional festivals in the Baltic region. For this special anniversary edition, I decided to play a vinyl set like it was back in those early days of the scene combining old trance records with modern trancey techno sounds.  www.yaga.lt

Releasing over 100 releases across the much feted Delsin, Klockworks, Mote-Evolver, Tresor and others, he’s become something of a cult figure, and dubbed a father of Detroit in The Netherlands for added points. It’s hard to imagine a more venerated artist and there’s good reason why, Rachmad’s fearless approach to production puts him a cut above many of his peers, often taking pure feeling and a collection of well worn machines as a starting point and trusting his gut along the path to finished product. For Bassiani Podcast 190, the Dutch master of techno delivers a thorough lesson in expert mixing. From orchestral strings to utilitarian bleeps, Rachmad’s sound bridges a gap no one else can. An ode to the motor city with a healthy measure of string composition thrown in, recorded live at the club during the Token X Reclaim Your City night on November 3rd.

For techno in Amsterdam, few do it better than Sandrien. The Dutch native has been collecting records in her hometown for the best part of two decades, and became a staple of the city’s underground scene through MAD2 – the club night she ran with friend Carlos Valdes. Building on the success of MAD2 she went onto establish Imprint – the night she’s best known for – which she ran at the much-loved Trouw club up until its closure at the beginning of 2015. In the years since she’s been playing out increasingly beyond the Dutch capital, with 2017 seeing her tour Asia and stop off in Berlin for regular appearances. This rise in popularity is a real testament to her prowess as a selector.

On 14th October she makes her Farringdon debut, so we didn’t hesitate in inviting her to record a mix for us to introduce herself. For her mix, she dropped a carefully-curated selection of ambient, IDM, broken beats and techno, before discussing her record digging habits and the scene in her hometown.

Unit Øne - is Anton who is hailing from Tallinn Estonia where he was growing alongside with his best friends - vinyl records, thanks to his father how was a seaman was bringing records from different parts of the world. A bit later when electronic music and raves reached his country in the end of 90ies Anton knew exactly where he wants to be the most - rights behind the dj decks to share his passion for music .
Since then he has been an active participant of underground scenes in cities he was based during last 20 years such as St Petersburg, London and Tallinn. He performed at many festivals and parties at beautiful and unique places including mountain highs in Slovakia and Czech, deep in the forests of Scandinavia and Russia, crazy squat parties of London and natural resorts of Spain, Turkey and Croatia, and some of the iconic underground venues around  Europe such us Tunnel ( St. Petersburg), Troxy ( London), DEPO ( Riga), Circus ( Helsinki), Peleda ( Vilnius), Ikra ( Moscow), Cinema ( Kiev), Szpitalna 1 ( Krakow), Blank ( Spb), HALL ( Tallinn), Blank  and many others in over 20 different European countries and beyond.
 Anton other roles within music industry as label manager labels Vertigo , Z-Plane Records (Sweden), worked closely with international festivals as booking manager on such as Trimurti Festival ( Russia), Yaga Gathering ( Lithuania), Vibe Festival ( Czech) and more...
