Having fun by assigning different ableton loop start points to the pads. Take note, only the break programming is live, the bass and other samples were sequenced, and it's just a bit of fun. The samplers behind weren't used in this, but there's an idea for another video ;). This one wasn't exactly challenging, but I'm hoping to do some more videos which will gradually get more live, and step some of the beat patterns and edits up some more also. This one is pretty much a remix of Dillinja - Ja Know Ya Big, but with a nod to a few other Jungle tunes also.

I guess the mpc purists may have something to say, but like I say just a bit of fun. And Jungle is completely lost on me if the beats arn't computer tight.

The For Real EP, or as I like to call it "Smooth in the Jungle" encapsulates the tranquil and classier ends of Jungle music. I like to push my self to cover all Jungle styles, which is why no two of my releases ever sound the same, but this might be the most out there one yet! 

Canaan, meaning promised land is a serene roller with heavenly pads and nature sound fx aplenty. 

For Real, the title track carries on those same vibes but with more of a breakbeat orientation. 

And lastly, Saturn. A firm roller with haunting Mellotron with a side helping of sub base. Sounding like it's straight out of 1997, with heavy Optical, Commix and Calibre influences. 

This is a "pay what you want" release, but as always if you like it enough please support the artist, and if you download for free make sure you return the favour and share this ep on your social networking sites - it's really not much to ask for.
