La suma de un espacio, unas condiciones adecuadas y un grupo de talentosos artistas latinos inmigrantes en un barrio de Barcelona, que se encontraron para despertar en sus corazones la expresión sublime de la cultura latina urbana; la tan acertadamente bautizada como Salsa.

Desde su primer Show en el año 2005 La Sucursal S.A. se ha convertido en un motor incombustible en pro de la salsa de calidad en Europa. Es en gran medida gracias a su esfuerzo que la escena de las orquestas en vivo ha tenido un importante crecimiento en Europa, y puede considerarse como la agrupación con más proyección a nivel europeo y punta de lanza del género.

La orquesta ha sacado dos discos al mercado internacional que han sido muy bien recibidos por la prensa especializada, ademas ha colaborado en diversas producciones cinematográficas, ganando el premio a mejor canción original en el festival internacional de cine de Bogotá. Ha actuado en países como Francia, Noruega, Suiza, Portugal, Marruecos, Colombia, Bélgica, Holanda y ha compartido escenario con los más importantes artistas del género.

En 2012 preparan el lanzamiento de una producción en directo grabada en el Palau de la Música catalana y realizarán shows con los principales artistas del género a nivel internacional. Podemos decir que gracias al trabajo de La Sucursal SA, ha sido posible realizar el Salsa y Latin Jazz Festival.

La Sucursal S.A. are a musical group of talented Latino immigrants brought together by unique circumstance here in Barcelona. They have come together to awaken a sublime expression of urban Latino culture, a.k.a Salsa.

Since their first show in 2005, La Sucursal S.A., has become an unstable force in the European Salsa community. Thanks to their extreme efforts they have had great success in spreading live salsa orchestras through Europe and arguably the group with the greatest impact at a European level.

The band has released two albums on the international market which have been well received by the press. They’ve collaborated on several film productions, winning the award for best original song in the international film festival in Bogota. They have performed in countries like France, Norway, Switzerland, Portugal, Morocco, Colombia, Belgium, Holland and have shared the stage with major artists of their genre.

In 2012 brace yourself, for their live concert at Palau de la Música Catalana which will be filmed and all their different shows that will be performed with major artists. A great thanks goes out to La Sucursal S.A., if it was not for them the Salsa y Latin Jazz Festival would not be possible.
