NYMROD born Corry P. Stokes often referred to as "God Gift In A World's Future" and is a NYC Based Rapper, Songwriter, Ghostwriter, Music Label Exec & Business Entrepreneur who grew up in The Cooper Projects in Brooklyn. 

NYMROD started his career as an artist while completing a 5 year prison sentence. It was during that time that NYMROD met rapper Maxx B who not only became a loyal friend but a mentor who quickly recognized NYMROD’s talent of writing and encouraged him to start songwriting professionally. NYMROD has been writing since the age of 12 so he quickly took Maxx B's advice and over the next 5 years perfected his craft. 

After his release from prison NYMROD took his talent to the next level and turned it into a professional career. In 2015 
NYMROD launched his record label and became the CEO of FEDERAL DISTRICT RECORDS. Shortly thereafter NYMROD connected with Dipset members Jim Jones and Cameron where he would be featured in Jim Jones “Ballin” music video. During his career he has collaborated with Redman, The Weekend, Melo, The Heatmakerz, H.E.R., PMD of EPMD, , Spliff Star, Junior Ried, Tyga, VADO & Fred The Godson. NYMROD has graced some of the countries biggest stages performing at the legendary NYC venue SOB’s countless times alongside Fred the Godson, Rah Digga, The Lox , Onyx and even headlined at 2018’s Hot 97’s Summer Jam , DJ Drewski’s Long Island Artist Showcase as well as Columbus Ohio’s The Rock Festival with iconic rock band Evanessence. A good portion of Nymrod's fan base comes from his performances.
Nymrod has performed at venues up and down the east coast and some of the west coast. He takes pride in the ability to work a crowd and command the stage. When Nymrod is on stage you cannot help but to take notice. With ease, he demands attention as only a true star can. NYMROD was hand selected to perform during The Unsigned Artist Tour and was a featured performer on  the  Unsigned  Artist Explosion Tour and has headlined venues nationwide. As NYMROD’s fan base continues to grow he has perform all across The US including New York, Atlanta and even a 3 week multi city tour overseas in Tokyo. 

As NYMROD continued to build his music catalog, his unique gift of writing became so well recognized in the Hip Hop Genre that he went on to become a Ghostwriter for some of the most influential and well respected artists in Hip Hop today. Some of the very biggest hits heard on syndicated radio were written by NYMROD himself BUT he will never reveal which artists or songs he is responsible for penning. He says of Ghostwriting “Ofcourse I sign legal agreements and the right paperwork but more importantly my word is EVERYTHING and I don’t break it for anyone. 

Nymrod’s latest Album titled “Educated Thug Music Vol.1, The Year Of The Narcissist has the industry watching and buzzing. Title tracks from "Educated Thug Music, Vol. 1 The Year Of The Narcissist" are currently playing on over 97 college and internet radio stations worldwide and has over 1 million streaming hours. NYMROD’s music has been played on some of the biggest radio stations on both the East and West Coasts including Hot 97, Xtreme 104 FM, iheart radio, TunedIn and Atlanta's biggest station Be100 Radio. 

October 4th 2021, NYMROD received record of the Year for "Alright" of his 2010 Federal District Records Greatest Hits. He is currently working on his highly anticipated follow up album for 2022 – Educated Thug Music Vol. 2
