While this track may seem like a typical and smug ode to the opposite sex, it is quite deceptive in its own right. This song is developed with the streets in mind. “Something In The Water: Hip Hop History in Cerritos”, is a panel series that plans to delve deep into certain eras in the City Of Cerritos & its participation of the Hip Hop Culture. This event is being conducted by Mike Sonksen aka Mike The Poet, artist Mark Bijasa, Pedro Orellana of the Cerritos Library & myself, Dj Rhettmatic of The Beat Junkies.

On this particular event, we are focusing on the historical aspect of the DJ, the music, & the parties that cultivated from the City Of Cerritos with a panel that includes 3 Generations of Cerritos bred DJs: The Swami Scratch, Dj Curse & Dj Melo-D of The Beat Junkies.

I made a special mix that highlights some of the talent & the music bred from the City Of Cerritos. There is also a special limited edition cassette tape that will be sold at the event, courtesy of Strictly Cassette.

Native Songs DJ crew composed with Benito (Montreal) & Mr. Bee (Detroit) presents "Instru Mental HipHop Mix".

This mix has been recorded when Mr. Bee visited Benito in Montreal for 2016 New Year's Eve Holidays. For the occasion, they decided to gather part of their vinyl records collection together in order to release a special mix only containing instrumental tracks.
This mix features tracks from recognized American beatmakers such as Kev brown, DJ Spinna, Lord Finesse, Kutmasta Kurt, K-Def, Damu The Fudgemunk... as well as tracks from the new european beatmaking generation (Suff Daddy, Eric Lau, Vin's Da Cuero, Klaus Layer, Figub Brazlevic and so on...).
