Our Black Martian comes from the realms of EBM. A bit rough on the edges but still very melodic. A new generation calls it Italo Body Music. An older generation would simply label it Trance.

We prefer not to use labels, but we want you to get an idea of what you’re going to get when you enter the musical universe of Mundo D.

Alen Skanner provides us with an additional interpretation of our Black Martian. Familiar but yet still very different. He may still come from the realms of EBM but as we travel further the story unfolds somewhat differently. It appears that parallel universes do exist.

Miguel de Bois however does not appear to be from a parallel universe but instead he appears to be from the future. Just as time can be sped up or slowed down, our remixer seems to be travelling at light speed. High-octane Hi-NRG!

“Velvet Static” is a seamless blend of deep house warmth, tech house precision, and classic house energy, shaped into a modern club-driven sound. The album moves between silky, atmospheric grooves and sharper rhythmic pulses, creating a rich contrast that feels both intimate and electrifying.

Smooth, hypnotic basslines anchor each track, while textured synth layers add depth and motion—true to the “velvet” in its name. The “static” comes through in subtle percussive details, crisp hi-hats, and glitch-inspired elements that give the music a restless, kinetic edge.

Vocal cuts drift in and out like echoes, adding soul, attitude, and emotional tension without overwhelming the production. Some tracks feature airy, melodic toplines, while others use chopped or filtered vocal fragments to enhance the rhythmic flow.

Built for late-night dancefloors yet crafted with a refined, atmospheric touch, “Velvet Static” captures the duality of softness and electricity. It’s an album designed to move the body, elevate the mood, and wrap the listener in a deep, club-ready soundscape.

Formosa pays homage to SSEDA's home, Taiwan, where she grew up . "Formosa" is the historical European name for Taiwan, derived from the Portuguese phrase Ilha Formosa, meaning "Beautiful Island," given by Portuguese sailors in the 16th century due to the island's lush scenery

Miraval from Greece has created quite a few buzz in the recent months releasing some interesting music on Armen Miran´s label Hoomidaas and for this time the two brothers Dimitris and Lazarus deliver a stunning record on Akbal Music.

This release is filled with emotive chords, hypnotic vocals, mystic sounds a timeless intereting sound with some piano elements always with a rolling vibe all the tracks.

All around is a juicy EP that includes a minimal dreamy remix by VieL also from Greece that completes the wonderful package.

Buenos Aires based sound producer Maxi Degrassi makes Melody Of the Soul debut with two absolutely fabulous tracks filled with spellbinding melodies and sensual rhythm.
'Everyone Is Welcome' showcases delicate pads, warm piano chords combining with magic voxes, making it perfect for sunsets.
More emotional 'Liru At Nom' brings piercing violin melody blended with layers of synthesizers and delightful rhythmic groove, perfectly suited for the dancefloor.
