Tribute to the late great Jason Kaye aka Magoo from the 'Ardkore act 
Top Buzz.

I wanted to do a recreation of the famous Helter Skelter 93 set that was labeled as Top Buzz (But some claim its Slipmatt and Kickstarter Crap) however I had a great deal of trouble getting a certain record.  I ended up later getting that record and making that set.  In the mean time I made this one which is probably more interesting to me as it includes newly pressed 1993 DJ Phantasy records and Ron Wells "What's Going On" which is a special record to me.

This is a tribute, not a complete remake because I'm missing Mega 2 on F-Project and I don't 
like it enough to spend 200+ USD on it.  I have Mega 1, I like it better, so I used that.  
Also the mixing on the original set wasn't terrific so I mixed this set as I would myself.
It's not clear this set was by Top Buzz (Jason Kaye) as rumors say this set was 
by Slipmatt and DJ Kickstarter Crap which may be the case.  Either way this was the first time 
I heard most of these tracks and in my own mind I always attributed this set to Jason Kaye so 
lets just go with that.  Lastly, Mad P did a wonderful job MCing this set originally so I tried 
my very best to include some short soundbites of him in here from the original lo-fi event recording.

This is the annual Summertime set for 2023.  This one is always quite important to me so as of lately I've been doing multiple versions in an attempt to get the best tracklist and sequence for the pile of records I picked out.  This one nailed it.

My favorite bits on here is this new recently released dubplate track: Orca "Lost 8".  That track blows my mind, it's so beautiful.  It combines a 1992 progressive house vibe with 'ardkore.  I also had to play Anthony Miles "Live Together" again as it's just so damn good.  This time I did a nice DJ Phantasy @ Dreamscape 4-style mix over it with Jonny L Hurt You So which sounded so nice.
