Releasing Friday July 29th, we are extremely excited to announce another Redstone Press debut in the form of Glasgow local LWS. Lewis Williamson is at the stepping off point of a soon-to-be prolific production career, having drawn early support from the likes of Ben UFO , Elena Colombi and Surgeon to name a small few for releases past and forthcoming.

LWS has been working hard the last couple of years crafting a signature sound via his excellent label Matrice Records (https://matricerecordings.bandcamp.com/) and a previous release on Eyeangle Records. Aerosol firmly cements him as a producer to keep two ears and eyes on and each track is a perfect example of his skill on the dials and breadth of creative talent!

MINX series is back today with a stellar dub-infused mix from Isabel Farrington aka Jezebel. Jezebel is a Dublin based Dj currently in Trinity College and working as a nightlife photographer. Shooting at gigs has given Jezebel exposure to music which has helped her to curate her own personal sound and allowed her to meet a lot of friends who have encouraged her in her beginning to DJ. 

Although based in Dublin time frequented in the UK and Spain has influenced her sound and she hopes to reflect this in this mix. Expect some deeply dug dubstep, garage, bass, drums, reggaeton and speed dembow!

Chrissy returns to Dansu Discs by way of ’The Other Side’ EP, complete with remix from Manchester based imprint regular Yosh.

The EP opens with it’s title track ’The Other Side’. A heavy dose of nostalgia characterises the record with elements of early hardcore, piano house & breakbeat littered throughout the four and half minute euphoric, peak time trip. Next up from the San Francisco based producer is ’The Only One’. Again Chrissy employs samples and elements of foundational strands of dance music, this time with a more heads down, acid tinged vibe.

Yosh closes out the three tracker by adding a distinctly UK flavour to ’The Other Side’. Watch ya bass bins!

Say hello to 𝙗𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙠. Gdańsk based DJ, a solid selector, and a member of the newly formed femme collective, 𝙋𝙊𝙄𝙎𝙀, which has established itself as a safe space for women, queer, and underrepresented individuals in the Tricity club scene.

Her fresh mix is a combination of warm, soft bass and broken sounds with a hint of electro. Especially delightful on these final sunny days. We melt at the thought of the passing summer and we don't hide the fact that we felt a bit sentimental. Float through these meanders of broken sounds topped with feisty vocals. It feels good.
