Quiet Sea Fast Current Tale By ''Tales From The Id'' :

In the cold vastness of day, I think of last summer and of its taste. Sickly sweet, like pink bubble gum. The heavy drip of clarity beats its way through the murk and runs down the back of my throat. I miss the taste, I miss the heat, I miss the rivers and the trees. All I have now are these tulips. A bunch of tulips on my lap and the occasional glimpse of reality shooting past me from outside the window. A fleeting glimpse of paradise.

The pull and the push. A big knot in my stomach. My phone beeps and the motion is lost. The wheels begin to rust. The walls stare at me, the ceiling stares at me, the other passengers stare at me, the driver stares at me, the open window stares at me. I am happy for the breeze. So are the tulips. It reminds us there’s a world outside all of this. A little peek at a better place. It brings us hope and makes us giddy. My beautiful giddy tulips, please forgive me. I should never have brought you here.

The floor stares, the people stare, the tulips stare, from my lap they stare. Outside the window...I see my bones pirouette on their spool. This causes me to jolt a little. Consciousness creeping in, tapping at the door, dragging me out of my stupor. Me and the tulips, together we stare.

Swallow hard shards of the mirror: clot throat dull pulse churning ridged trapped.

It’s dark now. I must have dozed off. Everything is coated in a thin layer of silvery moonlight. Everything looks dead, dead as bones. Even the velveteen tulips have lost their lustre. The sky is dense with electricity. The unholy black tide waits to engulf us all. The tulips cry for water.

A dreaded glow emitted from my phone screen. Framed by the blackened innards of the transport. Silhouetted things, ghastly and evil that loom over me. Strange world, grotesque and unrecognizable. Noises creeping in through the cracks, shoveled into my ears until my head is full and I begin to hiss like a deflating balloon. The ‘ratatat’ of fingers on keys on keys on keys on keys on keys on keys on keys on keys. Nightmarish repetition.

The after-glow. The journey. The tulips withering. Violently, violently. Quietly, quietly. The distant glow of streetlights and tenement blocks. The inevitability of destination.

I’ve tried to get Armin in our podcast series for more than two years. Extraordinary selector from Vienna, he’s part of the legendary Tingel Tangel team and, more recently, part of the Liederbetätigung duo (with Alexander Fuchs) who dig together (check their Youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/liederbetätigung) and making parties with the likes Rearview Radio and Kejeblos in the city. The duo is focused on “rather real pop songs (or rock, of course) from Germany or Austria, but also love the French and especially the Italian approach to music”. Armin is also known for his crazy edits of hard-to-find bangers. He included some of it in his podcast for us, an incredible and authentic journey into the lush and strange jungle of his mind. P.S. Jan Schulte mentioned Armin as "the best DJ in the world", so just decide when to listen this mix - right now or asap.

My life was constantly guzzled by a whole heap of events unfolding around, but they passed, significantly inheriting, but never leaving me with internal knowledge leading to the primary source of occurrence...It seems to be asking questions, but, in all this fuss, I didn’t notice the answers that were desperately signaling from everywhere or maybe I was simply not ready to accept them...But, once everything changed...

June...As always sat up late for work, my mind was immersed in some sort of inaudible discussions about seemingly important personal problems, replaced by questions of why a green radiance appeared on Mars and turned to messages from intergalactic forces of light...So it would apparently continue until I fell asleep, but, suddenly, a sound wave - ''the nada'' swept through introspection, and the space of the room seemed to be electrified...The impulse in the reptilian brain panicked and turned on the protection mode...After taking a few steps, I fell...But it was mysterious that there was a body on the floor, and felt myself standing or rather levitating beyond time, cause, effect, and...Gravity ...
There was no more mental burden of rajas and tamas...Just calm...I saw what initially was ''electricity'' - it were two flows, two jets, like DNA, they intertwined and circled around, creating a vortex that attracts images of the potentialities of various events which, in vivid pictures, opened in front of inner vision...So, this is how they act these electromagnetic forces...After a moment, I became the third spiral of this ''macromolecule''...At the same time, ''we'' been in millions of worlds, transfix them inside and out...

Morning, sunlight seeps through the windows ... Feelings can be described like - chill after the storm... Everything became obvious - the experience that opened, taught is that its important to learn how to surpass gravity and levitate over any life situation, thereby destroying any suffering from its consequences...
