Last year, long time Circus events and Circus Recordings fan Bontan reached out to Yousef to offer his remix services, the result was the explosive Bontan remix of Louis Proud’s ‘So Many Promises’, now one of Circus Recordings most successful releases.

A new friendship was born and whispers of a collaboration where heard…

Not long after, while working on his 3rd album, Yousef’s ‘in the process of eight’, the label owner felt he needed a twist on a vocal track he was working on.
A short chat later and Yousef was on his way to visit Bontan in his home studio with the sultry vocals of the The Angel ready to be recreated. 
The result is a meticulous, yet stripped back, mature sounding fiery vocal track. Nasty drums, relentless bass ride a poignant vocal that shimmers through the backdrop of authentic house.

The full release comes with 3 elegant and timely remixes from Timo Maas, Denney and ANNA.

to the feel good vibes thats been placed all over this track.
We reached out to one of the legends behind the late 80s house-wave revolution Kevin Saunderson for a
remix of this gem and he teamed up with his son Dantiez and delivered 2 completely different remixes.
One 90s inspired house remix and a more nuschool tech house remix. And as if that wasnt enough we
also got some superb late night bangers from the techno-favourites Pig&Dan with and without the vocals
for your pleasure.

Seu contato com a Música Eletrônica aconteceu no início dos anos 90, época em que a Dance Music começava a ganhar espaço no Brasil. O início da carreira foi como o de muitos DJs, tocando em pequenas festas na casa de amigos. Aos poucos, foi descobrindo o vasto universo dos sons binários, aprimorando as técnicas de discotecagem e obtendo o reconhecimento do público. 
.
No ano 2001 o DJ criou, em parceria com o produtor Mark Schuwert, o projeto 2 MEKANIK. Consistia na produção de Música Eletrônica (faixas próprias e remixes), além de um website com informações diversas sobre a cultura e cena eletrônica. Nos anos seguintes passou a colaborar com algumas publicações on-line: Clube Culturall e Eletrocena. Paralelamente ia desenvolvendo sua carreira como DJ, chegando a receber convites para tocar em festas no eixo Rio-São Paulo, Brasilia e Belo Horizonte.

Em sua cidade natal, João Pessoa, AND'y participou dos programas de rádio "Turbo Mix" e "Na Cola da Pan", ambos da Jovem Pan FM. Em todas as ocasiões manteve-se fiel ao estilo UK Garage, que mistura a batida 2 Step, do Garage, com as quebradas do Breakbeat. No Brasil, era um dos poucos DJs que tocavam este estilo - muito conhecido na Europa, especialmente na Inglaterra.

A trajetória em 2004 foi marcada pela criação e participação em dois núcleos de Música Eletrônica: o Groovetronik (made in Paraíba) e o BreaK-Klan, que reunia DJs de Breakbeat de várias partes do Brasil. Naquele mesmo ano, passou a incluir em suas apresentações o New Skool Breakz, vertente mais progressiva do Breakbeat. Na virada de 2005 para 2006 AND'y tocou em uma das maiores festas de reveillon já produzidas na Paraíba, o “Rave On das Américas”, nas areias da Praia do Cabo Branco.

Em 2010 o DJ retornou as ondas do rádio: produzindo, apresentando e mixando o programa Mega Pista (104.9 FM), nas tardes de sábado - juntamente com o DJ Andrezinho. Além disso, foi convidado a integrar o cast da webrádio 180 Graus, comandando o programa Full Vibe - dedicado ao Breakbeat e suas vertentes. Ainda em 2010, AND'y lançou a coletânea promocional “Rock-REMIX”: https://x.gd/ZlqNJ

A partir de 2012 passou a incluir a House Music, e suas vertentes, em seus sets e apresentações. Já em 2013 participou da campanha mundial "Set for Peace", produzindo um set especial neste concurso organizado pela ONG Peace One Day e Fundação Last Night a DJ Save My Life.

Em 2014 atuou como DJ residente do Zodíaco Bar, um dos nightclubs mais conceituados de João Pessoa na época. A partir de 2016 passou a integrar o cast da agência internacional de DJs Universal Talents, com sede na Holanda.

Já em 2017, AND’y trabalhou como DJ residente no Black Jack Bar, em João Pessoa, ao lado do DJ Claudinho Santa Cruz, parceiro de longa data. Em 2018, juntou-se ao time da CJB Produções, visando participar mais do mercado de eventos privados e corporativos.
.
Enfim, desde o início de sua carreira o DJ vem atuando de forma ativa na cena eletrônica paraibana, tocando e produzindo várias festas e eventos, buscando aprimorar suas qualidades e conhecimentos, atualizando seu repertório com os principais lançamentos mundiais e colocando a Música Eletrônica sempre em primeiro lugar!
