Ahmed Adaweya’s “Bent el Soltan” is a poignant ballad which explores the melancholy of lost love and stands as a testament to this universal truth. Rooted in the heartache of separation, the original track resonates with emotions that many have experienced – the raw, unfiltered pain of bidding farewell to a cherished lover or a loved one.

Our connection with “Bent el Soltan” goes far beyond musical admiration; it collides with some of the most dramatic events of our own lives. Recently, we mourned the loss of a dear friend, for whom this song held a special place. It was more than a melody to him; it was a symphony of memories, home away from home. Living up to its name: this mix goes just about everywhere and does just about everything. These days, I’m feeling a little calmer and more of a creature of (new) habit(s). 2023 felt like three separate years. She recently dropped two new singles that shouldn’t be slept on: “Te vi con el” featuring Sinaka and “Te Toko me Toka” with the devoted Sassyggirl and Manu Calmet and today, she’s set to grace the stage at the legendary Loolapalooza Argentina ❤️ where she’ll undoubtedly bring the house down with her vibrant energy. DJ Sustancia is a rare gem that should be reckoned worldwide. Keep slaying, Queen!
