But in this distorted reality, no matter how inauspicious it looks, we have to remind ourselves that the tendency in us to connect, to dance together, to celebrate life will never disappear. We dance, we travel, we listen to music that transports us in other dimensions and we will always do.

When I first visited Goa in 2017 I understood immediately that I will never be the same. This place accepted me for who I am and gave a lot power to become better. Goa always gave me challenges and always rewards me.

I watch what is happening in India now and my heart breaks. But the darkest time of night is always before dawn. The sun will rise and we understand that we will never be the same again. Together we will pass through this and become stronger.

Each track of this mix has a history and associations with Goa and shows my journey through personal changes.

I want to thank Max G-Light (@glight) for teaching, help and support. Thanks to your help, I was able to reach a new level of understanding of psytrance. Thank you, Legend🙏🏻

Mental Bugs is the psychedelic project that was created by Gilberto Castro and Jair Osorio at the beginning of 2017. After spending a few years as Dj Mugwump, Jair decided to study musical production and that’s when he met Gilberto.

After collaborating with some bands playing punk and alternative rock, they began to create electronic music.

As soon as they fused their ideas and spent some sessions in the studio, they decided to create Mental Bugs, characterized by strange atmospheres full of insects and fun basses inviting the mind to a pleasant trip full of joy and movement just for the moment of sunrise.

Xabanga is the Psychedelic Trance project of Greek born, South African Lio Mihos, aimed at delivering a focused and completely accidental musical adventure.
Having played the drums as my main instrument for many years, I am most drawn to rhythmic pattern variation, and because of this I started writing Psychedelic Trance to experiment with rhytmic variation of aggresive electronic music as much as possible!
In addition to this, having studied sound design for film and animation in University, my obsession with replicating sonic realities permeates into this project with a lot of passion 🙂
In this audible experience you will find riding basslines that groove into cheeky rhythmic motifs and aggressive leads, followed by designs in spaces that make no sense at all. The project was signed to Digital Shamans Records (Switzerland) in 2017).

Brain Modulation - Trip To Moon NightPsy Dj Set 10.2020

Nikolai Kuznetsov aka Bhairava is a DJ from Eastern Europe, who had contact with psytrance music in Goa in 2017.

After several trips to Goa and Ozora Festival Nikolai started study DJing during COVID-19 pandemic. He published first mixes in 2020 and in 2021 made mixes for different podcasts from Argentine, Mexico and Portugale.

Bhairava likes Night Psytrance with funky crispy noises, darky psyhedelic and broken hypnotic melodies. He also prefers to diversify his repertoire with day-time music.
