The O-town Boyz are a drum group of First Nations men and women singers. The drum, is the heartbeat of mother earth and is the center of our culture. The beat of the drum combined with the collective sounds of our voices is a medicine that can uplift and carry others in an emotionally positive way. The languages we sing are Ojibwe and Cree. The singers of the group are living in Ottawa, but our families are from different areas of Ontario. The songs we sing have many different meanings often including uplifting words of encouragement to our people, the Anishinaabe.
