As one half of the Mariner + Domingo duo, American artist Chris Domingo has compiled an impressive resume over the last 20 years. Upon making his debut on Balkan Connection in July of 2020, the Florida resident went on a remarkable run, landing releases via 3rd Avenue, Proton Music, RYNTH, and The Purr. Perhaps his most comfortable landing spot was Madloch’s long-standing Sound Avenue imprint, where Mariner + Domingo released ten originals across ten months, none more impactful than ‘Another Life’ and ‘Inertia’, which earned play and support from Lee Burridge and Sebastien Leger respectively. Now embarking on his future musical endeavors in solo capacity, Domingo + returns to Sound Avenue with a two-track showcase entitled ‘Hardway’.

We have been wanting to bring Serbian DJ/Producer Boris Mijolic aka Mass Digital onboard for a while now. Hailing from Serbia, Boris grew up gaining inspiration from music from a very early age. Exploring his father's tapes and later vinyl, he has always believed in the power of melodies. This clearly reflects in his productions, which are some of the best in the vast world of Organic House.

Experimenting with soft piano, pads and strings and infusing them with a perfectly crafted melody, Boris has been able to create some magical tracks which have found home on renowned record labels like Kindisch, All Day I Dream, Hoomidas, Sol Selectas to name a few. His music has been a staple in the sets of stalwarts like Above & Beyond, Lee Burridge, Hernan Cattaneo and many more. This month Boris joins our little Distant Grooves family with a beautifully crafted guestmix.

Freshness, groove and love of the electronic music. Carlos Chavez is a Canary Islands DJ with more than 12 years of career and more than 20.000 mensual listeners in Soundcloud. He is DJ resident of Papagayo Beach club, the best club in Tenerife and the most recognized club of Canary Islands. There, Carlos has been playing music in his native island and positioning himself in the national scene for more than 10 years.

The music that Carlos plays is characterized by being fresh and dynamic. Carlos devises and executes his sessions for the creation of energetic atmospheres, and transports listeners to stimulating ambiences, where they can enjoy nightlife and the dance floor. He always leaves his distinctive mark as a DJ with his characteristic sound and polished technique and elegant and attractive taste.

In 2020, Carlos Chavez creates his own personal label Soleá, and currently has his own radio show on the renowned Balearica Music radio station. His recognition in the Canary Islands and in the national and international scenes is constantly growing. With his wide range of experience and his refined technique, in his sessions Carlos Chavez invites us to listen to suggestive melodies and sounds, to get carried away by paradisiacal atmospheres and to enjoy nightlife.
