*Het eerste jaar thuis vollebak oefende...Hahahaha :p
*Begon zijn carriere bij de vrij radio W.fm (Double You fm) in Heultje - Westerlo in 1998 als Dave De Groof...
waar hij toen op zaterdag avond van 20u tot 22u een programma begon 
waarin hij de heetste club sounds netjes in mekaar draaide...En zo gevraagd werd om te draaien op locale fuiven en party's in de omstreek van de Gemeente Westerlo waaronder regelmatig in sporthal De Zoerla in Zoerle-Parwijs.
Elke woensdag op die zelfde radio Wfm begon hij samen met presetator Stef Van Dingenen een dance chart genaamd Mega Dance van de top 30 van de vinyl platen van Dj shop MVC te Paal....Stef Van Dingen presenterde en mixte (toen nog genaamd)  Dave De Groof de Club hits zwierig in mekaar ...er werden ook verschillende intervieuwe's met  toen bekende dance formaties o.a Fiocco - Abselom - Astroline ea....Dj's van de bekenste Discotheken en Clubs maar ook bekende producers zoals Dj Glenn bekend van  Baccardi's en producer - Bart Smolders (Reflex en producer) Dj Jan (Carat-Illusion en producer) Dj Philip (Carat - Illusion en producer) Dj Wout (Carat - Illusionen en producer).en op een zekere moment nodigde ze de twee populeire Dj/Producers Danny Van Wauwe van Club Reflex en de man achter Da Rick die mij onder zijn vleugels genomen heeft en mij gelanceerd heeft...!!!
