All The Hype Records and The Los Angeles Connection presents EDM Goes Punk. This compilation has various EDM producers remixing some of their favorite tracks in the Punk genre and Punk sub genres. A lot of us at the label, as well as the producers/DJ's that have submitted tracks to this compilation have had some roots in Punk Rock one way or another by playing in a band, or just a listener to one of the genres related to Punk. We are glad to put a different spin on songs that we love, and we hope that you love to as well! This compilation is for you to have FREE OF CHARGE!

HEAVEN TRAP = Euphoric flowing chords, 808's, and vocal chops.

At first I was kind of nervous to remix a group such as Above & Beyond, I've always been a fan of them since their OceanLab days. I decided to bite the bullet and try something relatively new for me that I haven't really done before: a trap remix! I've always loved A&B's melodic feel, and I felt like putting some 808s and adding vocal stutters would sound awesome.

This song is one of the tracks that I'd like to say is the beginning of a new creative direction that I'm headed in. I hope you like it as much as I did making it!

I WANNA KNOW (FEAT. DAYA) (JUSTIN EDGE REMIX)

Hi. I'm back for real this time. 

I'm actually really nervous about this one, this is the first ever song I'm releasing with me singing on it. 

My buddy JLuu hit me up last year asking to make a remix of Good Things Fall Apart, and I cranked out 80% of it in about 6 hours, but couldn't find a solid acapella. So I said fuck it and started singing the first verse, ended up dicking around on soundcloud, then I found Mark's cover of the song with literally like 12 plays at the time, so I messaged him on instagram asking if he could send the stems over, so I pitched him up and this is the finished product. 

This took WAY longer than it should've so I said fuck it, better now than never. Here's our cover of Good Things Fall Apart. I'll be back soon with new music.

Hailing from Los Angeles, Justin Edge has used his many years of classical violin training and multi-instrumentalist talents to perfect his unique and versatile sound. 

From deep house to trance to trap and anything in between, Justin Edge is a creative force to be reckoned with in and out of the studio; it isn't only his productions that stand out, but also his multi-genre DJ sets as well. When his 2012 Essential Mix was chosen as one of the top three selections for Gareth Emery's weekly podcast, Justin knew that being as versatile as possible was quintessential to his sound. Even the mastermind behind Major Lazer and Mad Decent - Diplo - knew that Justin Edge was a young artist to keep an eye on, shown when he played Justin's Beatport debut single "MK Ultra" during his set at his Las Vegas XS Nightclub residency.
