DJ Elegance wants to make your guests remember your next event for the next 50 years!


Benjamin de Graaf is the Managing Director of DJ Elegance.

His short back story; 

Having been a promoter for many years in Toronto and creating a number of A-list events that were niche musically themed events, is where Benjamin's desire to DJ grew. 

“For me seeing DJ’s spin, how they move the crowd and the exchange between party goer and DJ it became contagious and the need to satisfy that curiosity led me to the turntables and I have learned to express that love by playing a diverse range of music from multiple genres, eras, speeds and tempos.” 

Growing up Benjamin was inspired by the music his parents played, Abba, Disco, Motown (Marvin Gaye, Supremes), Funk (James Brown), Classic Rock, etc and fell in love with it.  He gravitated toward 80s era music (Nu wave, Synth- pop) and 90s hip hop. This wide range of musical taste has assisted him by playing sets that can draw from a wide range of genres. Currently, Benjamin plays out in a variety of other settings such as weddings, private/special events, showcases and corporate dinner functions and galas. Benjamin is a big believer in events that support community and young people.
