The song was written by Micheal Legrand for the 1969 movie "The Happy Ending". This is my revised take on the previous version I did a year ago  You will notice a Middle Eastern feel throughout in the counter melody I added. The song was composed in 1965 by Heinz Meier and originally released in Germany as "Der Sommerwind".  It was first recorded in America by Wayne Newton but is best known from Frank Sinatra's 1966 recording which peaked at number 25 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and number one on the Easy Listening chart.
