GRAMMY-winning producer and one third of electronic trio NERO, Joseph Ray, announces new club-focused single ‘Give Me A Reason’.

The latest in a long line of impressive productions from the producer, Joseph Ray’s ‘Give Me A Reason’ ties his signature rolling percussion and swelling synth lines together into a steady and euphoric climax. The track is sure to be a hit on the electronic scene in 2023, and has already been road-tested by Joseph Ray at Anjunadeep’s label takeover of iconic venue Printworks London, where it received a resoundingly positive response.

This latest release comes off the back of two well-received 2022 singles released via Anjunadeep, ‘Changing Lanes’ and ‘Inhibitions’, that have amassed over 800k streams across DSP’s and garnered support from the likes of Gorgon City, Tinlicker and Qrion. This is in addition to Joseph’s 2021 collaborative album ‘Leave the Bones’, written and recorded with Haitian band Lakou Mizik and celebrated by the likes of NPR, Pitchfork, BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music, Worldwide FM, Billboard, and The Times.

Canadian DJ and producer Simon Doty shares his latest single ‘Have You Ever?’ taken from his upcoming debut album ‘Universal Language’, out April 28th on Anjunadeep.

Blending an infectious, echoing vocal sample with a driving bass, ‘Have You Ever?’ is no exception to the Canadian producer’s signature house-influenced sound that’s seen him release on labels including Knee Deep In Sound, Purified, REALM, and his own imprint Recess.

‘Have You Ever?’ follows the release of ‘Soulflow’ (feat. Ursula Rucker), which has gained radio support from BBC Radio 1 presenters including Pete Tong and Danny Howard, SiriusXM, and KCRW as well as a host of tastemaking DJs including Gorgon City, Diplo, Nora En Pure and more.

Crafted for the dancefloor, Simon’s debut album ‘Universal Language’ gives the audience a taste of the range of musical styles that they can expect to hear Simon play during one of his DJ sets.

The album features a range of collaborations including American spoken word artist Ursula Rucker, british duo My Friend, singer / songwriter Tailor, UK-based producer and vocalist Artche, british songstress Ruth Royall and legendary American vocalist Roland Clark as well as a remix of JODA’s hit track ‘Closer’ (feat. Robyn Sherwell). 

In support of his upcoming album, Simon has recently announced phase one of his ‘Universal Language’ tour. Featuring over 30 dates, the tour kicks off in February in North and South America, before moving over to Europe and Asia. More dates will be announced later this year.

The latest edition of our free download series welcomes Emi Galvan for his first appearance. Argentinean DJ and producer Emi Galvin has consistently defied expectations throughout his much-lauded decade-long career. Through the success of early tracks like 2016's ‘Taking Over’ and ‘Universe’, the Buenos Aires resident emerged into one of the progressive scene’s most promising talents. A rich musical background with time spent in rock bands playing guitar and singing gave Emi’s electronic compositions a measurable creative edge. This elusive sound did not go unnoticed as he quickly earned the praise of genre tastemakers Cid Inc, Eelke Kleijn, Guy J, Guy Mantzur, Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren; while landing career defining releases via Balance, Sudbeat and The Soundgarden. Also an accomplished DJ, Emi’s long undulating sets have been applauded for their impeccable track selection and exquisite programming. As one of Argentina’s most in demand DJs, Emi has travelled the world, delighting crowds in Egypt, Greece, Hungary, Malta, Netherlands, Romania, Russia, Spain and more. A recent highlight in the Argentine’s sets has been his unofficial remix of Massive Attack’s ‘Girl I Love You.’ Released in 2010 as part of the band’s ‘Heligoland’ album, the song would go on to become one of the LP’s most recognizable tracks, racking up more than ten million plays on Spotify in the process. Emi’s version has seen considerable live play in recent months, with Guy J, Guy Mantzur, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Sebastien Leger and more all airing the remix across their sets. Ruben Karapetyan’s RKP welcomes Carlos Bacchus and Sebas Ramos to the label for their debut EP. Hailing from Colombia, Carlos Bacchus first emerged over a decade ago with releases via Smart Phenomena, System Recordings and his own Bacchus Records imprint. With a varied style that incorporates elements of deep house, tech house, electro, trance and more, the Monteria resident eventually settled on progressive house.
