In this episode of Timeless, Hamoon Ghaybi—known as Kudd—delivers a masterful fusion of trip-hop and jazz rap. Drawing inspiration from his travels across the Middle East, Kudd weaves a sonic tapestry by sampling Iranian music, layering chopped vocals, and integrating old-school melodies with turntable scratches.

Our goal is to spotlight the creative process behind each mixtape, showcasing how the past and present converge in a sonic journey. This album was created during a very specific period in my life, living with DJ BeeGazand.
It all started when I got a Korg Electribe EMX-1 drum machine from Nima Zoobin.
At our flat, DJ BeeGazand would play old vinyl records, and I would improvise live over them.
At some point, I just decided to hit record — even with broken cables and everything coming out in mono.
This album is a piece of our history: a mix of endless pleasure, deep depression, chaotic highs, and quiet sadness.
Every track is live recorded, raw and unfiltered — exactly the way we lived those moments.

آهنگ «نَفَس‌گیر» را پس از تجربه‌ی فضای جنگی و متشنج ایران ساختم.
صدای موشک‌ها، پدافندها، تخریب ساختمان ها, ترس و دلهره‌ی مردم، آینده‌ی نامعلوم و صلح ناپایدار و تمام تصاویر و پژواک‌های جنگ و پساجنگ تأثیر عمیقی بر من گذاشت و همه‌ی این‌ها در این قطعه بازتاب پیدا کرده است
.این ترک بخشی از مجموعه‌ی جدیدم با عنوان «خرابکاری» است که به‌زودی منتشر خواهد شد

Bahram - Yeki Tomast Yeki Gorg Instrumental (Prod. Ehsan Ziya) - 2011

DJ Jabbar, a DJ and turntablist from Iran, is one of the early figures in Iranian turntablism. With a strong background in scratching and beat juggling, he’s developed a unique style that blends hip-hop and electronic music. In his live sets, DJ Jabbar also uses synthesizers and an MPC drum machine to add an improvisational element to his performances.
