As one of Holland’s hottest electronic music exports, Bart’s pristinely produced brand of techno finds that rare between forward-thinking creativity and dancefloor sensibility. It’s this unique amalgamation which has led to standout releases via Break New Soil, Cocoon, Drumcode, Tronic and Rejected, while also leading him to remix top international talents Adam Beyer, Christian Smith, Joris Voorn, Kollektiv Turmstrasse and Nicole Moudaber. Also celebrated as a DJ, the Amsterdam resident often programs a bevy of exclusive music into his sets, perhaps none more famous than his much loved take on ‘Papua New Guinea’ by Future Sound of London. Released in 1991 by the iconic British duo and favoured by a broad selection of electronic music tastemakers, Bart took to reworking the track last year and it quickly became a highlight in his sets and those of his contemporaries, most notably Drumcode boss Adam Beyer. Now as 2021 winds to a close we’re happy to offer Bart’s much sought-after version as a free download. Enjoy!

Bought my first pair of Soundlab DLP1600 belt drive decks and MadetoFade mixer in my first year at Uni. Moved to Soundlad DLP3 Direct Drives and then invested in a set of Technic 1210s and never looked back.

More recently embracing digital as some tracks don't get pressed to vinyl :-(
