► Created by Steve Rubell and Ian Schrager, Studio 54 was opened between April 1977 and March 1986.
► Temple of drugs without complex, uninhibited sex and all excesses, it was the only place at the time when it was decent to let go completely
► The discotheque saw all the great stars of the day and was a highlight of the New York underground scene. She had quickly gained an international status and reputation as the greatest nightclub of all time. The music was mainly disco & disco funk.
