➤ Wir gingen zusammen zur Schule, wohnten in einer WG und tanzen seit Jahren miteinander auf Raves und Festivals. Nach langjähriger Feierei wollten wir auch mal auf der anderen Seite der Decks stehen. So kauften wir uns Anfang des Jahres 2020 zum Trotz unserer Nachbarn unser erstes Equipment und beschallten zuerst die eigenen vier Wände und später dann b2b als C2C die Berliner Clublandschaft. Als Mitbegründerinnen des Bambule-Kollektivs wirken wir nicht nur als Artists, sondern auch als Organisatorinnen mit.

Was ist dir an einem Safer Space wichtig?
➤ Um einen guten Freund, DJ Kollegen und Autor des Buches „Freiräume der Berliner Clubkultur“ zu zitieren: „Nicht jede Diskriminierung passiert absichtlich und kein Raum ist diskriminierungs- und gewaltfrei. Um Awareness für diese Themen zu schaffen, ist ein transformativer Prozess nötig. Dieser beginnt bei den Personen, die die Veranstaltungen planen, und macht natürlich nicht Halt vor jenen Menschen, die sie besuchen.“ - Tobias Allers aka Schallers2000.

Kuroki means black tree in Japanese. After my family and I moved onto a street sharing the name and learning it's meaning, inspiration sparked in me to begin recording mixes that share my love of the bountiful tree of house music.

It pays homage to the roots of house while also appreciating the ever expanding community that has branched out internationally.

House is a feeling of love and acceptance, taking in many different influences to unify people under the vibrant canopy and connecting them through music.

My desire with Kuroki Radio is to explore, wiggle and groove through all the delicious tunes. The ones that move and excite me, the people I love and hopefully you!
