Magnetude’s debut single ‘Mantis’ marked the beginning of a new chapter with the launch of Evolution Chamber. The label was set up by Task Horizon, Magnetude & Receptor to provide a creative outlet for like minded artists and since its inception in 2019 the label has grown from strength to strength. Evolution Chamber’s reputation for being independent and not sticking to any formative rules has gained a lot of attraction from artists across the full spectrum of Drum & Bass, with the labels next release being the trigger for a flurry of remixes and singles lined up in 2022 from both Magnetude & Evolution Chamber.

The eagerly anticipated and sought after single ‘Valhalla’ constitutes every inch of what Magnetude aims to represent within their compositions. And that’s not to just deliver music for the dancefloor, but it’s their cinematic and storytelling concepts blended with their intricate detail and technical production skills which when combined, creates their own unique vision that captivates and immerses the listener and takes you on a journey of endless imagination.

Their viking tale kicks off with flaring pad arrangements, marching drum lines and harmonised vocal riffs, giving the introduction a regal feel and the initial setting of the story that’s about to be told. As the intro moves into the buildup, the crushing kick-drum hits build up and drop into a sensory assault of distorted bass and unrelenting drums and percussion. The emotive signature vocal sings over the sonic palette of basses underneath that mutate and switch at will.

'Valhalla' represents a pivotal moment for both Magnetude & Evolution Chamber, and signifies the start of both the artist and labels onslaught of releases scheduled throughout the year, with both names certain to be echoed far and wide across the full Drum & Bass spectrum in 2022.

Founded in 1995 Renegade Hardware has been at the forefront of pioneering the techstep and neurofunk sound and is regarded as one of the most influential labels in Drum & Bass.

With a history expanding almost 30 years, the label was the gateway to some of the scenes leading artists of today, such as Loxy & Ink, Chase & Status, Friction, Noisia, Spor, Audio, Phace, Calyx & Teebee, Konflict, Prolix, to name a few, gracing its historic back catalogue.

In 2016, after more than two decades at the forefront of the scene, Renegade Hardware announced its closure. The label's final chapter was marked by a series of releases and farewell events that brought together fans, artists, and industry insiders to pay tribute to its legacy. 

Fast forward to the present, and with a complete reshape, Renegade Hardware returns with the highly anticipated remix album “From The Vaults”, which features an eclectic mix of future artists who have reimagined some of the most iconic tracks from Renegade Hardware's historic back catalogue.

Over two decades since its release, Konflict’s ‘Messiah’ continues to be celebrated as a Drum & Bass classic and is widely regarded as one of the greatest tracks ever written within the Drum & Bass realm. Only 2 artists have had the honour to remix this track - Noisia & Spor. Now, the Anglo-Russian duo Magnetude takes up the mantle, presenting their eagerly anticipated remix that takes listeners on an electrifying adventure. While paying homage to Konflict's original brilliance, Magnetude infuse their unmistakable, high-octane dancefloor energy and signature call-and-response dynamics, breathing new life into this timeless masterpiece.

After the combined force of new music from both Receptor and Task Horizon, Magnetude return with a fresh selection for their Evolution Chamber imprint. After launching in the latter half of 2019, pulling together the collective talents of all three artist monikers, the label has risen through an expanse of platforms available to listeners and has already defined itself with a handful of releases which once again exemplify the talent showcased within its roster. From just starting out to now holding festival stages across Europe, its expansion has been watched by the wider drum & bass scene, enabling the music of each artist to reach setlists globally. 

Magnetude’s forthcoming record ‘I’m For You’ rings back to the story telling and immersive soundscapes which have made the Anglo Russian duo so hotly tipped over the past twelve months. With robotic vocal samples and a narrative which takes you through from the track’s artwork all the way to its crazed switches, ‘I’m For You’ drops you back into Magnetude’s world. Hectic drum patterns and sonic note flurries add into the mixture to present a record which is heartfelt whilst also coming through with Magnetude’s signature bite.

Magnetude’s onslaught has been unstoppable this year; with more singles pencilled for both Evolution Chamber and Ram Records, their profile is elevating at a dizzying speed.
