 It was my first Fusion, definitely not the last. One of the most inclusive, affordable, sustainable and badass events I had a chance to see. The level of creativity, the quality of sound systems, the absence of authority or security, yet the feeling of safety and community. An impressive and powerful sonic city that shows us how the world can be when we work for a greater purpose, together, with strong values. 

This set represents a lot for me, after quite an heart opening trip in Beirut, Lebanon right before Fusion, getting closer to the war opened my eyes to the energies, challenges and times we are living in, while being fuelled and inspired by the beautiful resilience of people. ❤️

The dancefloor as a revolution. Music as a way to heal. The community as a foundation to rebuild the world from the heart space. 🌍   Gratitude to the Sonnendeck crew for the invitation, to everyone who came to dance for the morning session, and big love to old and new friends who made this journey memorable.

DEPTH. PERCEPTION Returns in 2025: Live Electronic Music from AJ Hackett’s SkyPark Bungy Jumping featuring DOPPEL LIVE.
 
We’ve been working towards this moment for a long time, and we’re proud to finally launch the next chapter of the DEPTH. PERCEPTION series — filmed in one of the most iconic locations in Australia.  
 
For this very special episode, we packed our bags and headed north to the tropical rainforest of Cairns, teaming up with the legendary crew at AJ Hackett’s SkyPark — home to Australia’s only bungy jumping site — to create something truly unique.  
 
On top of the tower, 164 feet above the canopy, we welcomed DOPPEL, one of Australia’s most respected festival artists, to deliver an exclusive live electronic music performance. Known for his deep, melodic, and progressive sounds, DOPPEL brings a set filled with unreleased material and timeless productions from his highly regarded discography.  
 
Since launching the PERCEPTION series, we’ve been waiting for the right time and place to showcase DOPPEL’s musical journey — and this was it. Elevated in every sense of the word.  
 
This episode blends the beauty of Far North Queensland's natural environment with the countries unique and distinctive music culture. It’s a celebration of underground electronic music, Australian landscapes, and the artists shaping the future of sound. 
 
A massive thank you to the incredible crew at SkyPark Cairns, especially Charlie, Jayde E and Jayde H, all the jump deck crew and everyone behind the scenes who made this collaboration possible.

“Cairns is one of the places that the Australian outdoor scene and its unique flavour of house & techno really originated as well as the hometown of so many of my friends and inspirations in the industry so it felt like a natural place for it all to come together for this recording. It’s also been a place that has welcomed me with open arms since the beginning of my career, so getting back up there to play tunes and showcase the incredible natural beauty of the place was really special. This is a collection of a few new bits I’ve been working on and playing around recently mixed in with a couple of classics. Devotion to the art of creating music along with an undeniable presence of synchronicity has brought this mix to you.
I had only just discovered Flow Sessions and was just a couple of weeks deep into exploring the collection of mixes, when I was invited to put together my own Flow Session recording. I was genuinely taken by surprise. Was this a sign? Not sure, however, I was humbled to be asked to contribute to this curation of world class music.
Releasing this 3 hour and 33 minute long mix, on the 3rd day, of the 3rd month of the year, at 33 years of age seems again, mystically fitting and I am thankful for the alignment. Though it has been a busy year in the studio, this is the first music that I have shared publicly in over a year, and i feel a great sense of relief to finally let go and allow it to be heard by an audience other than my cat. :)
This set features all original tracks, made with love, and woven together in hope of portraying what I feel is the essence of the past year. For many of us 2020 was a time of both fear and uncertainty, hope and re-discovery; surrendering to change through darker times, and finally moving forward into the light. The idea was to capture a reflection of a personal journey through our recent past and into the brighter present. 
Thank you again to Flow Sessions and all those who contribute to help support artists during this time. It has truly been both a pleasure and a ride to create this set for you all. I wish you all love and good times ahead. May we all dance together soon!

Mazuko, formerly known as Marcotix , is an Australian based well-travelled musical storyteller and global festival staple who speaks through his deep techno, electronica and house repertoire.  Infused with an elaborate selection of culturally influenced sounds and other worldly rhythms his story never fails to blow minds.  Dishing up an array of sounds from deep rolling baselines to intimate journeys and big room techno thrilling buildups complimented with well-timed subtle changes in tempo and mood.  His experience of reading and interpreting dance floors is paramount and reflects in his delivery. No two sets are the same and his sound is an ever–evolving and dynamic rollercoaster whose course is determined by the dancefloor.
