Afro Mix: Volume I

Hey friends, here’s a new Afro House Mix! It’s a shorter version of what I played at the Rhythm Scape re-launch last Friday. 

This time round, I played with effects more than I have previously, which really prompted me to let go of the idea of perfecting the mix and instead focus on having fun with the transitions.

Afro House is such a beautiful genre; it transports me to a state of calm and really touches the soul. On that note, I hope you enjoy listening! Let me know your thoughts 💭.

My heart lies in classic UKG; there’s something very special about the early tracks of the genre. The bass is something else, and the flow of the MCs is just too good! 

Mixing classic UKG with some modern day UKG tracks for this set was a lot of fun, and I’m looking forward to releasing more mixes like this.
