Atyya Afterparty Closing Set @ The Thing Arcata 10.2.2021

Live in Cappadocia, Turkey, October 2022. 

This set was recorded on a hot air balloon over 3000ft in the air for a 20 person dance floor. WOW. Absolute peak life moment! This is the maximum height that balloons are allowed to fly. The views were completely otherworldly from up there. This was also one of the first DJ sets of its kind, with a generator powering a full PA sound system in the basket.

Moments like these remind me how magical life can be if you find an outlet for your artistry. 

Huge thanks to Chelsea and Oren at the Exquisite Artist Retreat for making dreams a reality. It was beyond amazing!

Healed was a community fundraiser to support our dear sister Yawei in her healing journey after some tuff medical complications. We came together as a community to combine our light and send healing vibes to Yawei as she is recovering. We also hosted a silent auction with over 30 artists featuring hand made items as well as practitioner services. Our hope is to raise financial aid for Yawei's medical expenses on her journey to recovery. We started the night with a powerful activation manifesting golden light surrounding her. Then danced the night away in her honor and ended with a beautiful sound mediation to really set the intention. Yawei has a long road ahead of her and could still use energetic support and financial aid. Please keep her in your heart and donate to her link if possible. A note on my mixes - I celebrate the cultures whose music I play with the utmost respect and honor. I love pulling from a wide range of cultural influences to have the full spectrum energy for each dance journey. It is my hope that my mixes inspire, heal, and move people in the ways intended by the artists and cultures who create the music I play and remix. Another intention is to create a bridge for underserved populations into the ecstatic dance container that I love so much. Thank you to all who contribute, support and create.
