This week’s DJ Mag weekly podcast comes from the incredibly talented Julian Jeweil.

A mainstay of Minus, Form, Plus 8 and Cocoon, Jeweil has been building quite a name for himself in recent years.

Last year he was the No.1 best-selling techno artist on Beatport. As well as that, his productions currently hold 6 tracks in Richie Hawtin’s Minus Beatport top 10, too.

A self-confessed workaholic the French producer has several releases riding high in the charts including his ‘Destination’ EP on POPOF’s Form imprint.

Elsewhere, he's just released a remix of Matador’s ‘The Enemy’, which is the debut release from Matador’s newly minted Rukus imprint and, last but not least, there's an excellent a remix of Dubfire & Oliver Huntemann’s ‘Fuego’ that all feature in the mix.

He’ll be in Ibiza this season too, having secured a slot on Carl Cox’s final ever show at Space playing back-to-back alongside his partner in crime POPOF.

Tokyo born Ryogo Yamamori has been working his magic on the Japanese scene for over 20 years, originally drawing inspiration and polishing his passion and skills during the early 90s while Detroit techno and Chicago house were making ripples across the globe. Since then, the label head, DJ and producer has become one of the defining artists to emerge from the Land of the Rising Sun, bringing with him “kaleidoscope and cavernous deep techno” which has seen the light on the likes of Non Series and Modularz, and works absolute wonders for us On the 5th Day crew.
