Four Flies is delighted to present a super juicy treat for all 7-inch vinyl devotees: the first of its 45s series singles to feature tracks from Giuliano Sorgini’s masterpiece Zoo Folle. To ensure maximum DJing pleasure, we’ve picked two of the grooviest tracks from the original recording session, never before released in this format.

The psychedelic funk number “Mad Town”, on Side A, drags you in with its infectious drum breaks and the rapid yet hypnotic flute of Nino Rapicavoli. “Ultima Caccia”, on Side B, is sheer afro-tribal bliss, with drums by Sorgini himself and massive funky percussion by legendary session player Enzo Restuccia.

The mysterious Pejzaz (1/2 of Ptaki) returns to The Very Polish Cut-Outs for another sample-based excursion. While his debut - 'Ostatni Dzien Lata' ('The Last Day of Summer') was a love letter to the 60's to 70's nostalgia, baroque pop, soul (and their extension through the golden age hip hop), the sophomore is built around dancefloor oriented cuts, deep house, r'n'b and quirky excerpts from Polish pop (like a couple of bars nicked from a Duran Duran cover). It fills in the gap for a proper house/pop/DJ album coming from Eastern Europe.

Tajemniczy Pejzaż (połowa duetu Ptaki) powraca z drugim albumem dla The Very Polish Cut-Outs. Debiutancki 'Ostatni Dzień Lata' ukazał się w 2018 r. i był pocztówką z dawnych kurortów, cytatami z polskiego popu z lat 60, soulu oraz hip hopu złotej ery. 'Blues' idzie o krok dalej i nostalgię zamienia na klub nocny z muzyką house i r'n'b. Oczywiście z zachowaniem nie podrabialnego klimatu. To taneczny album dla didżejów, który jakoś nigdy wcześniej w Europie Wschodniej nie powstał.
