Nothing Compares to You

Another piece of work for my studio class recorded in an eastlake studio, there was an issue with a guitar pedal making an awful noise but could not be removed without removing tone from the guitar.

 I have recently completed a Bsc(hons) Audio Engineering course with a 2:1 grade. I have completed extra curricular courses including Stage Lighting, Rigging and Working at Height in the Entertainment Industry, Portable Appliance Testing and Electrical Theory for Live Events. I use Cubase 5 for my audio production but have recently changed to Magix Samplitude Pro X, absolutley fantastic software. 

My studio is basic but very capable of recording and mixing what I require but more recording inputs on my audio interface would be the only real requirement in the near future. With a small mixing desk in future plans as well.

I have a very good understanding of 'Studio Acoustics' having written a dissertation on the topic with various testing involved. This really helped in recognising why sound reacts the way it does in certain environments and how you can control them. Due to all this it has made a vast improvement in my mixes, a valid point here is that acoustic treatment is a must for more accurate mixing.
