ROCKITEER'S, have you ever had those moments in your life when things are at their craziest and uncontrollable? Where things feel like the whole world is against you and wants to take you down? And then when you are at that point of almost breaking, that you take all that is pent up in side you and you let it all out in a wave of powerful emotion just to feel better so that you can start all over with a whole new plan for yourself and your life.
Well that's what these mix (and one more in the future to come)represent. These are my musical inspirations of the feelings and things I have gone through, survived and how I am now expressing them in my mixing. And I really hope I am able to share my emotional journey with you and that they might help you too when you need them too. Hey ROCKITEER’S what’s up!! First I want to give the Faultine crew and Eric Riggsbee a huge shout out and thank you for featuring me on this Faultline Sessions, number 31.  Mad love and respect to Faultine and all they do for the music we all love.  This mix right here has some mad emotion behind it and a huge emotional release that fueled it when I was recording it. It is what gives it that energy you will hear and is 100% me leaving it on the floor! So I really hope you all enjoy it, it makes you want to turn it up and bump it hard! Because there are those times in our lives where we all need to get crazy up and RELEASE IT ALL!!

"First off I want to give a huge shout out and thank you the Space Cowboys for having me on as a guest mix. So much love and respect to the whole crew! 

This mix right here comes from the heart and soul of a Punk Rock, B-Boy, Breakbeat, Techfunk, Techno, DnB, House Music, Lovin Dj and a true Raver at heart. To me this mix is what a perfect night in the main room of the Legendary Home Base Concourse center would be if it was still around today. That old skool Massive feel, but with some of today's banging Breaks, House and Techno. And if you have been there, then you know what I mean, and if you haven't, well I hope this mix makes you dance, freak out and feel like you can party at home with your emotions on your sleeve. That's how I love to play for anyone who is listening and that's how Home Base used to make me feel. I so hope you all enjoy this one, it will make the Raver in you dance!"

January 1st 1995, Dj Rockit took up the art of Dj’ing and stepping behind the decks he set out with one mission, to make people feel the groove and party their asses off! From there on he developed his own unique style of Breaks, House and Techno. Since then he has played at parties ranging from small intimate events to some of the biggest Massives and nightclubs in Northern California, Las Vegas, Idaho, Utah and Florida.
Currently Dj Rockit is a resident for some of the most notorious and well known crews in Northern California & around the world, Strategik SF, 1200 Hustle, Smoke Break Crew, Fraktured SF,  Theoryon records, Funky Flavor & Sideshow Kuts international.

IN THE BEGINNING: Dj ROCKIT discovered the sounds of Techno in 1990 when first hearing the song “The Spice Must Flow” by Eon at METROPOLIS, a local club in Fresno, California. At the time being in a local Punk band, hearing this new sound led to Rockit’s passion for electronic dance music and on to his journey into the underground rave scene and club culture. Even though it would be some time before he would fully discover this New World and his new destiny, he was now on the path to new discoveries.
On January 1st 1995, Rockit took up the art of Dj’ing and Dj ROCKIT was born. Stepping behind the decks he set out with one mission, to make people feel the groove and party their asses off! From there on he developed his own unique style of Breaks, Tech Funk, House and Techno. Since then he has played at parties ranging from small intimate events to some of the biggest Massives and nightclubs in Northern California, Las Vegas, Idaho and Utah. He has had the privilege to open for and, play alongside some of the Biggest and most talented DJ’s in the world.
Since his emergence on the scene, he has held residencies for several production companies in Northern California and for one of the most notable nightclubs in the Sacramento area. In the mid and late 90’s he was one of the main residents for two of the most well-known rave and club production companies in the Nor-Cal area, “SUBSONIC UNDERGROUND” and “FUZ-E” Productions. In 2000, Dj ROCKIT held a two year residency at LIFT, one of the most predominate EDM nights inside the Rage nightclub in Sacramento. He has also held a residency for “STATIC” productions and his own production company known as “THE PHUNKY PEOPLE PROJECT” till 2007.
On Sept 5th of 2004, Dj ROCKIT became the one and only winner of the USA Heineken, Club Ice DJ challenge. This contest which was held at ICE in Las Vegas was also filmed for Spike TV’s reality show called “THE CLUB”. He and twelve other DJ’s were picked from out of over 250 DJ’s to participate in the contest to battle for the 2004 Heineken DJ Challenge title and the chance to open at the clubs most packed night alongside World renowned DJ’s Paul Oakenfold and Sandra Collins. Dj Rockit was judged and finally picked out of the final three Dj’s by Paul Oakenfold as the winner of the contest. During the contest, he made short spot appearances on several of the shows episodes with the other contestants. And then was finally featured along with Paul Oakenfold and Sandra Collins on the shows next to last episode as the winner of the DJ challenge where he had the pleasure of opening for Paul and Sandra at ICE.
Currently Dj Rockit is a resident for some amazing National and Worldwide production companies. First we have Strategik and Strategik North, which are two notorious crews that are known for their collaboration they do with other crews and their own renegade parties in Northern California. He is a representative for Sideshow Kuts International. A global Artist Network known for their small, but amazing events worldwide. He is part of the National crew, the 1200 HUSTLE and their Nor Cal chapter. He also is a representing Dj for two of the funkiest and on fire labels today, Theoryon records and Funky Flavor music. And now as of August 2019 he is a part of the Smoke Break Crew that is from San Francisco, UAS to Melbourn, Australia and beyond. They are a renowned Dj crew that is known for their shows on NSB Radio.
