Melodic Techno DJ Set: 2023-03-04 @ The Great Räng Teng Teng

As usual had a lot of fun with this set. This is NOT the original set I played on 02.06.23. But it should contain many of the same tracks I spun that night and a similar vibe. 

I was the opener for this show so the inspiration of the set was to start slow at around 100 BPM, playing downtempo chiller stuff and then to ramp up the tempo fairly quickly to 126 BPM, all while maintaining elements of tribal drums and darker overtones throughout the set.

Tribal Downtempo Melodic Techno Set

The first 30 min of my set at Räng Teng Teng as the opener for the Love Cats & Space Invaders party on 16.02.24. Sadly the field recorder died while recording so the entire set is not available. Added room sound recorded with the Tascam DR-40x field recorder. House infused with smooth jazz.

Special Shoutout to anyone who got the spongebob jellyfish jam song reference (a.k. Stadium Rave) and started dancing like a jellyfish, that really made me smile :D

Neuhäuser House Party

My relatively short closing set for a "Hütte Party" (Hut Party in English), taking place on a foggy, cold early-morning in late November 2024 at a remote lake-side hut in the Blackforest, Germany. Really happy with the way this turned out, despite still having occasional beat-matching issues. The vibes were there and a couple of the transitions were quite technical yet clean. Finally managed to feel like I belong in the techno community with this one. Dark 4x4 techno infused with some break beats and tribal elements fit the atmosphere well.
