Dragon Dreaming 2022 - this festival was the first party I ever attended many years ago, the first time I ever played a set completely made up of my own creations and a place that has shaped my life and sound in so many ways. Seeing it flying again after three long years on hiatus and being reunited with so many special people was an absolute treat. The lake was full, the skies were blue, the grass was green and there were smiles all around. This is a recording of the icing on the cake, being given the privilege of playing the closing set on the main stage was a real full circle moment for me, and one I will always cherish, so thank you to the organisers and everyone who was there for the whole weekend and made it so bloody special. My highlight of every year. 
- This year was different...

I finally got my shot at closing The Space Cowboys!
Last man standing at 7 am on the Sunday at AfrikaBurn. 
- Special shoutout to Steph for being with me the whole time. You're a legend bru. 

Straight into the music. 
Spending seven months in Australia in 2024 gave me a world of inspiration. 
- Spending time with their people, learning their culture, listening to their absolutely fucking spanking music.
- This is the culmination of what I heard.

You can expect a lot of what I do best. 
Minimal. Psychedelic. Driving. Provocative.
- But, have you heard of Bush Prog?

Thank you again to the Aussies who crossed paths with me. 
- I grew more in seven months than I grew in years.

A few months back was the most wonderfully magical gathering to celebrate a dear friend's 50th cycle of the sun.

I was privileged enough to be able to play for many hours on the Sunday till the end.

SMISH is a 28-year-old Australian DJ, Performance Artist, and Event Director (Misheen Productions) known for her finesse in crafting high-energy, genre-blending sets. With a distinct flair for building tension, dynamic progressions and explosive drops, she delivers a masterfully polished sonic adventure. 

Her vast and varied musical selection enables her to traverse the realms of Psy-Trance, Brazilian Future Prog, Techno, Tech House & Bass House, with playful accents of 8-bit, Latin, acid, electro, glitch and more, creating a unique musical soundscape out of every set she delivers.

Driven by her passion and love for music and community, along with her remarkable skills in promotion and marketing, SMISH has cultivated tight-knit groups and garnered a strong following, making her a notable figure in the Australian electronic music scene. Her neurodivergent creativity and electrifying stage presence transform every show into an immersive and unforgettable musical experience.

Since her debut gig in 2021, SMISH has played at various events and festivals across Australia and Vietnam, supporting artists such as Shapeless (Brazil) and Dave Winnel (Aus). Her highlight achievements include playing at Earth Frequency Festival, Initiation NYE Festival, Rabbits Eat Lettuce, Bohemian Beatfreaks, NYX Festival, and being booked for Splendour in the Grass 2024 (prior to its cancellation).

As of November 2022, SMISH has broken into the event space by establishing Misheen Productions, an electronic dance music event series taking South East QLD by a storm. She has successfully executed sell-out events, including her Funk Misheen and Space Misheen warehouse parties in Brisbane, along with her first festival that she directed; Sol Vibrations 2024. 
SMISH also works in close collaboration with well-respected crews such as Wizards of Kingston, Lab Leaked Beats and Mystic Valley.
