This year I'm celebrating 25 years of professional DJing, I've decided to put together a mix every month this year featuring  one or two of my favorite cuts from each year in order leading up to 2012. The first one is late....but i've been busy. I often find myself questioning why I'm still wasting time doing this shit, but when i go back and play some of these tracks it reminds me. Having performed in clubs and on stages in more than 50 countries, DJ Spinbad is revered by fans of all ages and has seen and done things few DJs can imagine. Icons such as DJ Jazzy Jeff and the late DJ AM have called the native New Yorker their "favorite DJ" (see Video section), most likely due to his masterful technical skill, party-rocking ability and musical versatility.
 
     Social media continues to be one of the main factors in determining an artist's "influence" in today's digital world, and with 25k followers on Spinbad's Verified Twitter account, he proves to be an extremely valuable entity. His "influence" (followers plus their followers) allows him to reach a maximum of 84.7 million people on Twitter alone. Some of the many powerful people who follow Spinbad on Twitter include America's Got Talent's Nick Cannon (4.6m followers), Vinny Guadagnino from MTV's Jersey Shore (3.3m), Questlove of Jimmy Fallon's Roots band (2.8m) and DJ phenom Diplo of Major Lazer (1.1m followers).
 
     Spinbad is currently touring the world as the official DJ for International comedy sensation Russell Peters. He has appeared on Russell's last 3 comedy DVDs, and has even produced the all-original music soundtrack to his new Netflix documentary "Russell Peters Vs. the World".
 
     To further add to that, Spinbad is also currently the most syndicated radio mixshow DJ in the world. His top 40 "Twitta Mix" airs weekly on more than 110 radio stations, including NYC's legendary Z100.
