DJ Splinter started in the early 80s playing funky azz drums and added scratching, DJing and rapping in the early 90s. He has been part of several crews like Fresh Familee, Konstruktive Kritik, Das Duale System, Shakkah and contributed on further projects like 4 The Cause, Gerd Schröder Show and others. All in all he is featured on approx. one million physically sold records / cds. In 1995 he was the german contestant at the DMC DJ world championship in London, UK. He worked for several recording studios and media companies (print, tv and radio) in Germany. Due to unreliability of musical / lable partners and simply whack + refused contracts by the music industry (and also expressing that urgently), he decided to train as an industrial clerk, he worked on that field successfully for a leading building-material manufacturer the last 14 years full-time until the management fucked it up again... Currently he is drumming and sometimes composing / singing for a rock´n´roll collective in Berlin called Mathe 5. DJ Splinter is strictly independent and not related to the music industry but he can be booked for appearances anytime by anybody. To be continued!
