This was a CD that i did in 2001, representing the sort of stuff i was banging out at the London Squat raves around the turn of the century.. Loads of dancemania mixed up with bits and pieces of full fat techno with a few double copy mashups and loads of scratching.. Sold quite a few of them through the record shop that i worked in in Camden (Dragon Discs) but i thought i'd lost it until i was sorting through my basement today and found a solitary CD.. So hope you enjoy.. This one's for the sunday morning squat party crew :-)

An early track I made at college - NR5 - and still my favourite of that era.

DJ Sureshot - Been mixing on turntables for over 20 years. A hip hop freak from the old school and throughout the Golden Age.
I love vinyl. Love the roundiness, the shininess, the texture of records. Love the artwork of a record cover. Love the hidden, cryptic messages found sometimes in the run-out groove. And let's not even mention the pure delight of the Gatefold Sleeve.
 
When not on the decks I write and produce songs of a varied nature spanning fat crunchy electronica, turntablist hip hop, alternative noise and ambient chillout.

I also write a blog called Ageing B-Boys Unite! because I find being a vinyl nutbag, songwriter and father just not demanding enough and need other jobs to fill my days.
