Tel Aviv based 'The Formula' label makes it’s debut release with a hard hitting collection of musical goodness, a brand new label pushing a melodic sound.

Opening the collection, About Time & Matan Tamal lament Israel’s clubland mecca on ‘Tel Aviv’. A rousing arp-driven crowd pleaser. Next, Adam Sellouk presents ‘Worldwide’, a detailed and highly infectious groover.

Esoteric Circle slow things down with their deep and hypnotic ‘Icarus’, while Aacht takes his offering, ‘Deviant’ into hands aloft end of night territory. Doriann’s larger than life ‘Stadium’ is up next. Influenced by ‘90s hard trance, it’s epic sonics and vocals making it a secret weapon for years to come.

Matan Tamal makes a second appearance with ‘Dream’ a tough, saw-toothed bass driven vibe. Finally, Copini drops some subtle tribalism on ‘Distance’.

For its last release of 2023, When We Dip XYZ is proud to present a three track remix pack of Motip White’s ‘Clean the Turbines’ EP. 

Kicking things off is Atish, chopping and pitching Motip White’s vocal from ‘What Do You Want Me to Say.’ The Manjumasi label-boss complements the track with a rolling bassline, glitches hitting left, right, and centre, and the gritty bass fills from the original. 
 
Also taking on ‘What Do You Want Me to Say,’ Gespona & Djolee craft huge percussion rolls and manipulate White’s layers and textures. The two artists, who have just launched their own label ‘Rummel,’ leave room for the memorable hook halfway through, which then recedes in favour of the heavy drums. 

Third up is Meera with her take on ‘Clean the Turbines.’ Faithful to her style, which has recently been showcased on VOD and Crosstown Rebels, she opposes a subby kick with a tempest of hats & shakers, harmonically guided by a light piano. The Norwegian producer keeps on building the energy, surprisingly introducing her own vocals and an acid layer on the arp as the tune unfolds.

'Burning To Me' featuring Steven Jones on vocals reflects their most melodic, progressive but sexy approach to music. With a nostalgic feeling, yet a charismatic message from Steven. A singer that redefines the lines of the 80’s and surprises us with a Depeche Mode touch to his songs.

This time, Anims and Pole Position teamed up for impressive remix interpretations from Hardt Antoine and REj.

Both excellent energized dancefloor moving songs that won’t make you stop dancing.

With recent releases on Kompakt, TAU and Innervisions, Hardt Antoine spices the whole release. His trademark remix with a solid groove and twisted endless harmonies will captivate and conquer any dancefloor. On the other side, amazing interpretation from UK artist REj.Once again, redefining the lines of the original piece with an eclectic music taste. Adding his trancey, psychedelic but energetic signature to complete the whole pack.'
