EEGOR @ NYX Festival 2023 closing set (studio rendition)

Particle Theory is a cross-continent collaboration project between Australian bass music artists Duos & Eputty. A wonky post-festival flight booking in June saw Eputty staying at Duos place in Brisbane for the week. Particle Theory Pt. 1 is the creative results of the unplanned visit, a two-track EP inspired by nature, exploring the themes and textures of water and earth.

Aerial Earth opens proceedings with a rolling drum and bass vibe, covered in locally sourced foley and soaring cello sweeps. Switching up to hit a lo-fi halftime vibe on the second drop.

Water Garden dives into the ocean to deliver a Kawaii 5-0 experience. A wonky stepped break folds in on itself as a mermaid’s calypso siren-song serenades a parade of bizarre sea creatures into the depths.
