Memorial Day marks the start of the sunny season in the States, and for our thirty-sixth Moonlight Mixtape, St.Ego has stirred up some groovy summer vibes. Hailing from St. Petersburg, Russia, St.Ego is an organic house mainstay with releases on the lion’s share of our favorite labels - 3rd Avenue, Nordic Voyage, Elebated, and Daydreamers among them. This week, he’s brought us a mix that’s perfect for sunset soirées, whether you’re keeping it casual with a backyard barbecue or enjoying an elegant poolside cocktail. 

The opening track is a standout Empty World number that’s still on our setlists—what with its dreamy, buoyant breakdown woven between Afro-Caribbean percussion and just the right amount of breezy vocal sampling. Throughout the remainder of the hour, he weaves a mood-shifting history compiled of his original work, a few remixes, and even a handful of IDs.
