Here's a teaser mix for my upcoming track. Just want to please any current and new fans, and hopefully gain NEW new ones. There's a lot of work that needs to get done. Found a neat little mastering VST, so hopefully my future tracks will sound more "authentic." Sorry for the "demo" watermark in the track, still working on Abelton Live Lite (ugh!) and using Sylenth1 VST. 

Please send any good VST's/plugins, samples, etc.. to my gmail account: centripetal.vibes@gmail.com. I'm exploring lots of of different tools out there. If it's free, AWESOME! Payware? Awesome too! If it lets me try it. I have a Mac, so PC recommendations will not work. 

Centripetal Vibes - Chill Prog (TEASER) WIP

Hey Guys, 

I haven't been active here in awhile, but I wanted to share my progress with my track so far. It's been difficult for me to finish this piece, as I am in need of full unlocked software. I would like to make this track, when finished, a donation track, where if you would like to contribute to my funding for purchasing software, you will help me get better sounding free tracks your way. I will also post the names in the description of my next track to those that help with my cause and that give me permission to post. 

Here's where I need your help. I need ppl to share/repost this track on their page, in hopes of getting to the right number of ppl to listen and hopefully buy in to the donation. If I see a high play/share/repost rate, it will inspire me to finish this track. It will also inspire me to finally create a facebook/youtube page where I can keep up to date with my progress, share ideas of music, and share others' great contributions. Winter is near, and will need a fun hobby to do during that time. 

If I don't get a high number of shares, I will continue to finish this track, regardless of being able to have full software. I will eventually buy it when I sell a few things I don't need. Won't be soon, but it's on my list of things to strive for.

I finally finished this track, and working on another one at the moment. This track was a nightmare trying to finish, as I was really trying to get comfortable with all my available options. Working on getting full software.

Decided to release a lost track. Never thought I would since it isn't like my other genres. 

UPDATE TO MY MUSIC PRODUCTION JOURNEY! - I have taken a break from EDM, but not from music. I have shifted my focus on latin music, and expect to return to music production at some point. Maybe even make an EDM track if I feel inspired.

I'm back! Been busy with work and such, but managed to make some time for some new creations. I have a track coming up soon too. Decided to do another chill track. It was inspired by my trip to Miami last year. Hope you like it. 

Centripetal Vibes - Oceanic

Just a place to upload all my tracks. I started producing in 2005 (I was about 16-17) using FL Studio. Just want my music in one place and maybe get some feedback on how I could make them better. Criticism (and hate) of all sorts are welcome :)

DJ Velosity was my first artist name, in case you wondered why it was in my tags. 

I originally uploaded some of these tracks to mixstreet.net in 2005, but the web site is down now. 

I then created a Myspace Artist page for my newer tracks in 2006. That site is still up and can be found here:

Over the years, I changed my original name to Centripetal Vibes to reflect the focus more on my own productions rather than mixing.  

Track listings are in sequence of when they were produced. Most recent ones will be up top, and the oldest ones will be in the bottom. 

Any program/plugin suggestions for Mac or PC will be mostly appreciated :D

I listen mostly to House (Deep, Electro, and Progressive). Other genres I listen to are Trance, Dance, Lounge, and all the sub-categories. I also love latin music like Bachata, Salsa, Reggaeton, etc.. and have a mixcloud for those types of mixes.
