This week's mix comes from none other than RAW Soundsystem owner and party promoter DJ Aesthetics. A long-time member of the Smokin’ Riddims label, Edinburgh-based Aesthetics has had multiple EP's released out on Smokin Riddims, and received support from likes of DJ Hype, Hazard, Friction, Camo & Krooked, Jaydan, and TC. 

Finding his love for Drum & Bass attending the now legendary Manga events in the early 00s, Aesthetics went on to gig across the UK and held down a seven-year residency at old school weekly party, Split, at the old Cab Vol and the Moray House Bongo. Fast forward to 2021, you'll catch him and the Raw Soundsystem at Mash House!

An established member of the Smokin’ Riddims camp, Edinburgh based Aesthetics has to date released 4 solo E.P’s on Smokin Riddims, receiving support from DJ’s such as DJ Hype, Hazard, Friction, Camo & Krooked, Jaydan and TC. 

Aesthetics forged a love of Drum & Bass attending the now legendary Manga events in the capital. Aesthetics has played across the country including holding down a residency for 7 years at weekly Drum & Bass club, Split in Edinburgh, and running the Edinburgh based monthly club RAW with partner in crime Upfront.

Aesthetics continues to work on new music for Smokin’ Riddims and is currently working on music for the next project.
