Way back in October 2020, Gravit-E released his ‘Triple Shot’ EP with us and since then he’s been on a one man mission to conquer the world of drum & bass music. Thankfully, he made time to put together another massive collection of tunes which all make up the ‘Elements’ EP. Everything you could possibly want and more from one of the UK’s hottest new producers.

Title track vibes a run with sci-fi pads and atmospherics, linking in and out of trademark drums and off key single note bass stabs. It’s a wonky affair to say the least and one that will fit perfectly into a festival set, no doubt throwing the crowd and their jaws off guard.
‘Darkness’ is exactly that and more, embedding all sorts of moody vibes into the mix with its reverb soaked low end, creepy FX stabs and sweepers. A tune for the corner surfers, bar huggers and all of the ravers who just want to stick their head down in the dance.

‘Looking Back’ could well be aimed at the old school but is it? Probably not to be honest, however, it’s melodic female vocals fit right into place with the sharp as a knife bass swipes and arpeggiated synth patterns. Let’s call it brand new funk with a nod to the past yeah? All about the ‘Soul Train’ for a fresh approach at using wind instruments and guitar licks in drum & bass. It’s combined use of new era breakbeats and dulcet frequencies really pays off here, creating the ultimate concoction.

‘Turn Away’ wraps up the EP for Gravit-E, it’s bright and airy pads nice up any dance alongside pitched up vocal stabs, perfect for ending a set with the sun coming up, smiling at whoever is next to you and thanking your lucky stars we are all back where we belong - on the dance floor.

Hailing from the UK's most easternly point aka Lowestoft, Affirmation is a Surrey born but EastAnglian through and through Multi genre DJ and Producer.

He Eats, Sleeps and Breathes Rave culture!

Cutting his teeth 19 years ago at the infamous Brains-Kan free parties and other such nefarious events, he fully fell in love with the culture and never looked back.
Affa (as his friends call him), picked up the flavour for Djing in his late teens and throughout his early 20's mastered the art mixing vinyl and then digital djing respectively.  
Previously known for being a bit of a free spirit and a clown, he didn't take things too seriously until 2012 when something inside just clicked.

Fast forward 11 years and he's relentlessly climbed tooth and nail from doing warmup sets to playing mainstages, festivals and headlining shows across the country. 
Growing a lot over the years, one thing that's never changed is that no matter the size of the crowd Affirmation always gives 110%.
Over the last decade he's built up fearsome reputation as a technically gifted, versatile and ruthless DJ. A real wizard on the decks....
he brings a high octane and passionate performance, full of lot's energy and lot's of sweat hahaha!

Comfortably covering most rave genre's, Drum & Bass / Jungle and Speedbass is where Affirmation really shines. 
With the main bulk of his career spent djing around the UK DNB circuit.. he's won dj comps, played huge shows and passed the decks to the very top tier artists in the scene.
He's also had a NO.1 across all genre's in the juno download charts!!! Alongside a string of release with respectable labels such as Grand Theft Audio, Boomslang Recordings, Mutant Species and Noxious Records. 
More than capable of mixing across four decks in these genre's..... book him' for the 174 and your ravers feet will definitely be sore!!
