NYC PEECH BOYS - Life Is Something Special (WE MEAN DISCO!! Two Hearts Love Theme Re-Touch)

Got a challenge to remix this seminal track on the danish radioshow Vidundergrunden for DR P3, this is what i came up with!

Vocal Stem separation done with splitter.ai (which needed editing and EQ'ing to not sound overly weird and "spectral", but still worked shockingly well!)

Lime is a Canadian disco band from Montreal, Quebec. The group was originally composed of married couple Denis and Denyse LePage who had a 1981 number one US Dance hit with Your Love. In 1979, Denis LePage wrote, arranged, and released an instrumental 12" single vinyl record called "The Break" under the name Kat Mandu. Lime released their debut album Your Love in 1981.In 1982 saw the release of Lime's second album Lime II supported by the single "Babe We're Gonna Love Tonight". Unexpected Lovers was released in 1985 and was a huge Dance floor hit then as well as today. I revamped this great floor filler with a bit of a twist and mean no disrespect to the original version, Enjoy !!!!!!!!

I changed a lot of things: the intro is completely revamped, making it much easier to blend rather than the full-on one on the original - the outro is also redesigned as an instrumental, adding a good minute to the original mix.
