DJ AIKone

Ambitious, young and irrepressible, DJ AIKone quickly played himself into the hearts of black music lovers. In the late-nineties, the makers of the legendary Neuschwanstein Cologne, which was the Mecca for Black Music fans in North Rhine-Westphalia at the time, hired him for his first resident station - a symbiosis which catapulted the club to become the "absolute hotspot of the Soul & R & B scene" (Kölner Express, from 18.12.01) and helped DJ AIKone to national recognition and popularity. 

Several national and international appearances followed including engagements for Missy Elliott, Dante Thomas, Ludacris, R.Kelly, and the MTV Show 'I bet you will' (2004). He was also the Release Tour DJ for Ashanti in 2006 and recorded the Boyz II Men & Pimp my Player CD Sampler von Zyx Music. 

Since early 2007, DJ AIKone is the official Club DJ of "Street Soul" on imusic1 Streetsoul (www.streetsoul.tv) which is Germany's first Black Music Show on national TV. The widely acclaimed host Amiaz and DJ AIKone are leading through the show on prime time Saturday evening and present only the hottest beats and sexiest voices. International renowned stars such as Shaggy, Dante Thomas, 112, Lumidee, Busta Rhymes, Ryan Leslie und 50 Cent have been guests in the show which reaches c. 36 million households and is watched by more than 180.000 viewers at peak times.

Germany's hottest Radio Station, "PLANET more music RADIO", (www.planetradio.de) has been calling DJ AIKone its very own since 2011. The Radio Show "THE CLUB" hosted by DJ AIKone is live ON-AIR every Tuesday from 10pm and every Saturday from 9pm on.

Beyond national borders, the phenomenon AIKone is highly demanded as well illustrated by his countless performances in well-known clubs such as VOLKSGARTEN / Wien, DISCOTEKA / Barcelona , PALACE / Siofok (Hungary) / ZOOM-OUT FESTIVAL & MIX-CLUB / Thailand. With more than 150 annual bookings, DJ AIKone is among the absolute top shots in the international DJ Scene.
