DJ AKI launched his career in Tokyo, Japan, in 2002, quickly establishing himself as a sought-after talent in the city's vibrant club scene. His electrifying sets and seamless mixing earned him nationwide recognition, leading to performances across Japan and South Korea.

In 2015, his journey brought him to San Francisco, where he cemented his place in the Bay Area's dynamic nightlife. He is currently a resident DJ at Toad Hall, Midnight Sun, and Badlands SF, three of the premier video dance clubs in the Castro district. Beyond his residencies, DJ AKI regularly ignites the decks for major events, including Qt Night Life (Steam and Rize), Up Your Alley (Folsom Street Events), San Francisco Pride, and more.

A rising force in the Circuit/Tribal music scene, DJ AKI has shared the stage with industry icons such as Alex Acosta, Alan Jackinsky, Toy Armada, Erik Vilar, and Dan DeLeon.
