BIO:
Alain Pauwels is a progressive house deejay based near Antwerp, Belgium.
Led by a profound love for progressive house music, surrounded by passionate professionals, practitioners and a supportive progressive house family, Alain Pauwels has been driven to share his passion of mixing sublime tracks and to bring joy across all boundaries.

Inspired by amazing deejays and producers such as Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Guy J, Marcelo Vasami, Graziano Raffa and many more artists from the Sudbeat, The Soundgarden, Lost & Found family and other well respected labels, Alain has been encouraged on his mixing and sound creation and started sharing his mixes under the PROGRESSIVA concept on Soundcloud.

His dedication to provide uplifting progressive house mixing, with an occasional flavor of deep house, organic house and melodic techno, has eventually been recognized in November 2018 by respected deejays in the Amsterdam progressive house scene which got him in touch with the Proton Radio station, which led to the point that Alain was requested to provide a VS guest mix. This resulted vastly in clinching his spot in the Proton Radio resident DJ-team with his own monthly PROGRESSIVA show which started in March 2019. Apart from the Proton radio show, he is also performing monthly on the Belgian internet radio station XBEAT.

He started to play gigs in June 2019 at private progressive house parties.
Alain has been performing as from then frequently at Club NL, an Amsterdam club icon and “must go” during Amsterdam Dance Event. He became resident at the Connecting Souls nights organized by the much respected Dutch DJ Clay van Dijk.

As from October 2019 Alain has started producing with French producer Arnold Toutain, which resulted in the first release “Ginger Mercury” being played straight away by Hernan Cattaneo on the Resident show end November 2019. Releases are available on Nature Rec.

Hello Everyone and welcome to another exclusive episode of the PFG Progcast! We continue around Australia on our whistle stop tour this month, and an artist that really is on the crest of a wave. From under Southern Hemisphere skies, Zankee Gulati is a rising musical phenomenon. With his distinctive brand of underground house and a dash of techno, the Sydney based artist continues to develop a growing fanbase. Raised in Hobart, a move to New South Wales provided new opportunities to captivate club-goers with pristine DJ sets full of verve and craft. There were soon appearances at leading clubs and festivals like S.A.S.H, Bootz N Catz, Return To Rio, T1000 and many more. These have seen Zankee forge a 24-carat reputation in the city’s thriving underground dance scene with shows alongside industry icons Hernan Cattaneo, Guy Mantzur. Eelke Kleijn, Tim Green, Nick Warren and more 

As a promoter, Zankee Gulati’s resumé is no less impressive. Renowned for the blue-chip brand  ‘Bootz’N’Catz’ that has exploded onto Sydney’s clubland with an array of talent. Building upon performances from an DJ elite that includes Yotto, Guy J, Henry Saiz, Lane 8, Jeremy Olander and more.

Transposing a wealth of experience in clubs and commercial arenas, Zankee's growing production career has seen a meteoric rise recently. His early releases came on notable imprints as Clinique Recordings, Soundteller and Massive Harmony Records, all illuminating his talent. The “Breathe” EP on the globally renowned Particles label saw Zankee garner support from across the globe including, Tripswitch, Dmitry Molosh and Paul Thomas. 

The same level of support greeted his high profile release on Nick Warren's 'The Soundgarden', with the vibes of "Visionary/Fika" released in 2020, and a remix for Seba Busto was also a notable highlight for the year.

2021 promises to see an exponential career trajectory with forthcoming releases on imprints such as  Mango Alley, Plattenbank, onedotsixtwo....We hope you enjoy the mix!

Inspired by pioneers in the scene such as Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren and Marcelo Vasami amongst others and many well-respected labels, Alain started to dedicate himself in creating uplifting progressive house mixing, with an occasional flavor of deep house, organic house and melodic techno.
As from end-2018 Alain has his own ‘PROGRESSIVA’ show on Proton Radio, a US based digital radio station which also runs its own record label. Alain invites every month an international artist to provide a guest mix for the show. Alain also has residency on XBeat Radio, a French/Belgian digital radio station, providing his monthly ‘Elements’ podcast. 
His live dj performing path re-started mid-2019, after a sabbatical of nearly 20 years coming from the vinyl age. In that same year he became, and till date still is, resident at the Connecting Souls nights by Clay van Dijk. Ever since Alain has performed in clubs and on events where he shared the decks with Hermanez, Eran Aviner, Madloch, Lost Desert, Kasper Koman, Nicolas Rada, Marcelo Vasami, Alex O'Rion, Dmitry Molosh, Danny Howells and Eichenbaum amongst others.
As from end-2019 Alain has started a collaboration with French producer Arnold Toutain, which resulted till date in productions which are released on Nature Rec, Musique de Lune, Future Avenue, 3rd Avenue and INTU Music. Each release has been supported by ‘El Maestro’ Hernan Cattaneo and many other well-respected artists in the community. Alain has started as well a collaboration with Argentinian dj/producer Valen Gonzalez, receiving already early support in these and released on onedotsixtwo, LuPS and Mango Alley.
Watch out for Alain as the coming years will bring more new music and gigs, which makes him here to stay!

Encyclopedia was founded in 2021. Since its creation, the artistic direction has been driven by the design and creation of visual and musical supports. Encyclopedia's activity is mainly focused on the promotion and distribution of DJ artists in the world of progressive house Organic House & Progressive. In three years, more than 250 artists have emerged, totaling more than 600 mixes around the world (England, Germany, Italy, Hungary, Spain, Portugal, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Israel, Turkey, etc.) and great artists of Progressive House and Progressive.

Encyclopedia also deploys a wide range of artistic interventions, which aim to share the different facets and singularities of our concept. Initially, the ARAWAK project is part of this dynamic and made it possible to set up the first electronic digital festival, in collaboration with Bianco Vargas dj living in Brazil, with whom we had been working since the first season. Encyclopedia does everything possible to ensure that ARAWAK has incredible visuals and great promotion broadcast on all streaming platforms such as Spotify, Soundcloud, Mixcloud, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter & Youtube.

Encyclopedia as a broadcaster has put together other playlists like Voyager, Mesopotamia, Destination and Monophony that you can discover on streaming platforms. After 3 years of development in Montpellier in France, Encyclopedia is in full evolution and created with Aglaia Rave a solid and professional collaboration on the creation & cooperation of the Encyclopedia Edition radio.

Aglaia Rave & Leo Baroso have been working closely on the EDITION podcast for more than 2 years.
