Welcome to Groove Theory.
In this episode, I have the pleasure of showcasing the talented Mahar, who sends us on a journey with his hypnotic and eclectic grooves.
Mahar is a local talent from Montreal who recently moved to the UK. He is now based in the vibrant city of London, balancing his life with his day job with his passion for music, crafting new releases and projects. He made his mark in Montreal by bringing into the scene his production style. The young producer started on his production journey in March 2021 with the UK-based label, SHUVT.resonance, and released ten tracks with the label. Mahar expanded his horizons and collaborated with Perception Records in Brussels and All Blak Records in Toronto. His debut EP, "Magnetism [SHVT003]", gained significant recognition, with established artists in the industry supporting his track "Velocity", propelling him into the limelight. Very recently, he took part in a Minimal production challenge organized by Brawther [Courtesy of Balance], with a jury composed of Cassy, LoSoul [Another Picutre] and Daniel Paul [Cabinet Records] and saw his track ranked #1 among 50 submissions. Mahar is also part of the RAWMoments crew in Montreal, occupying the role of management and A/R for Paolo Rocco's label.

On the streets of Berlin, it’s easy to spot people who know their electronic music. You’ll see curious partygoers as well as picky listeners whose appreciation isn’t easy to win. Tonight, both crowds are heading to the presentation of Daniel Gardner’s record. A cult album that was revived thanks to a fresh concept and a remaster. By evening, Jonny Knüppel was packed. Among the guests — a flamboyant duo that couldn’t go unnoticed. Some swayed to rhythms that felt like old friends, while others — luckier ones, perhaps — were discovering an entire world for the first time. As they approached the booth, Plate leaned in with a warm smile:

Alci is an artist that has been steadily rising through the scene over the last few years, first coming to real widespread attention through his early releases on Robsoul. Further releases on labels such as Infuse as well as his own imprint SEEINSOUNDS have shown a much more stripped back & dubby style to his sound and one which we at Game Over really identify with. Compré mi primer 12" dance, Foxy - Get Off de T.K. Records -en una disquería de amigos en la Galeria Ipanema de Punta Arenas, XII Región de Magallanes, en 1984. Primero, fue el Dj de la discoteque Eclipse, Luis Norambuena, quien me enseñó las primeras nociones de cómo manejar una Technics 1200mk2. Más tarde, en el verano del 2002, el Dj italiano Tony Check cultivó en mí la afición por mezclar oldschool house en las tornamesas. He presenciado la evolución de la escena nacional desde entonces tocando con todos los exponentes de la escena nacional y los mas importantes de la internacional y esa es una parte de la historia que cuento a través de mis sets. En el 2005 abrí mi propio laboratorio sonoro y de reparación de equipos para Djs ,  www.turntablelab.cl, amplificando y asesorando profesionalmente importantes Clubes y eventos del underground nacional. Actualmente mis sets suenan en Radios como www.cigarra.fm, www.audion.fm , el pinchadiscos de radio cero y  en clubes como M Club Valparaiso(Residente), Club del Sol Sunshine(Residente) ,Club O(Residente) ,Skyroom , The Main,  de la 5ta región ,  Club La Feria, Mamba Club ,Nave Luna  MBar Groove, Fiestas Streetmachine,Sonaza, Creamfields,Misteryland ,Micro Club ,  Its About Music , 99 y diversas fiestas en Santiago y a lo largo del país , Recientemente incursiono en Europa para expandir sus conocimientos ,viajando a ibiza , barcelona y berlin !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. House , Techno y  Tech House old school sólo para quienes Saben y Quieren Bailar!!!!!!!!.
